There aren't enough stars to rate my experience with Dr Liao and her staff…read more Dr. Liao is an amazing Surgeon. Her knowledge and chair side manner is everything you could want from a Doctor. Over the years she has removed wisdom teeth for me, and a few years ago I needed an implant. That procedure was completed with no problems during the surgery and after 5 years the implant hasn't given me any problems. I normally get anxiety when I visit the dentist but not with Dr. Liao. She has a very confident and calming spirit that you'll feel from the moment you meet her, and you just know that you're being treated by someone that really cares about her patients. Recently I was referred to her office again by my dentist because I broke a tooth requiring her expertise, and as always Dr Liao was able to resolve the problem even though it was more complicated than my dentist and I imagined. I just want to acknowledge and say thank you to Dr. Liao and her excellent staff for the genuine care they give their patients.

Dr. Osibin is the best!…read more He's the coolest oral surgeon/dentist I've met. He's really laid back, comforting, but confident and reassuring. I've had 2 dental implants done with him, and it's all been a positive experience. His office was able to take my Humana Extend dental insurance and would have been able to take Delta Dental (if I still had them). What surprised me was the process/method he does -- instead of putting in the bone graft, waiting a couple of months, and then after the bone graft had a long time to set to then put in the implant and abutment, Dr. Osibin puts it in during the same procedure! He puts the bone graft in and sets the implant & abutment during the same procedure, come in after 2 weeks to get the stitches removed, and only then as it sets together (I guess) do you wait the 3+ months before it's possible to get the implant crown installed (by your regular dentist). I somewhat have a phobia of needles and was extremely nervous over the procedure. But he and his staff were so reassuring and calm/confident that it helped me. So wonderful and considerate that I really love how they even went so far as to pour some numbing liquid where they were to insert the IV for the anesthesia; simply to do what they can to minimize the pain of the price! It's those kinds of things that shows how you can be confident in the care you receive here. And when something went wrong with my insurance, they were willing to work with them to figure it out and get it settled. And when something even worse happened and even though it was most likely my fault and I needed a separate correction on another instance that was also a dental implant, they were more than understanding & happy to work on it with me to make it happen. I can't say or be more grateful & appreciative to them for that. The place is nice and cozy. The wait room is nice, with comfortable couches and a tv placed high. It can get cold in the place, so wear something warm. The initial exam rooms (where you discuss costs and estimates) and xray rooms are very office style, and the actual procedure room is bright and sterile. Parking is small, but sufficient. There's a small parking lot behind his building that fits, I would say, 15-ish cars (pretty tightly though). Tip; if you're getting a procedure, try to reverse park in the first slot perpendicular (not parallel; to the side) nearest to his building (on the left side when entering through the driveway) -- reverse park so loading in the passenger side is easier -- as that's the closest to the door where they wheel you out the back. But the closest parking would be street parking right in front of the building, if you can get it. All in all, this is the best place to get any of my oral surgery needs. I can't be happier with Dr. Osibin and his chill, cool, confident manner, efficient and organized staff, and competent, capable, & effective treatments.

I came in one day for a consultation & was able to get an appointment very soon for the extractions. On the day of treatment, everything went pretty smooth & fairly quickly. All of the staff here are super friendly & informative. Later that day, there was very mild discomfort, but no pain at all. They also called to check in on me several hours after the treatment was completed which was so kind of them! I'd highly recommend Dr. Knoll for your extractions. Side note: If you need to get your tooth extracted & are delaying treatment because you don't want to deal with the "pain" that it comes with, you're over worrying yourself! Dr. Knoll & his assistants will take great care of you. I mean, what do you expect ... you're getting a tooth removed, just expect SOME kind of discomfort. I ended up being charged an additional $300 to have a hole that was left behind re-stitched because it had become impossible to clean properly. This was in their email response when I pushed back. "The courtesy adjustment of $1,516.40 was applied to the 3D scan, 1 hour of IV sedation, and the debridement of the lower right area. This was basically all at no charge." All of which I paid for on my intital visit. What was most concerning was that when I shared this experience with other dentists and mentioned his name, none of them seemed surprised

A very efficient and communicative dental office!…read more My first appointment with Dr. Shin was last week, it was super quick & very thorough. I don't think I've ever had the opportunity to learn about gum pocket depth the way I did here! Today I had my cleaning with Lucien. I was done in less than 20 minutes! He explained every step thoroughly and even explained what options I have if I ever wanted to fill my tooth gap. Also, this was one of the most thorough cleanings I've had in years. My previous dental office was a big corporation, I'm not sure if alameda landing is private, but it sure is great and the staff seem a lot more relaxed here. Both times I only waited about 10-15 minutes to be called into the treatment area/exam room. A huge difference compared to my previous 1 hour+ waits at my old dentist.
