While we waited for our outgoing flight to depart, we browsed the stores and ate a meal. The Stamp store had a nice selection of souvenirs such as bull figurines, candies, decorated plates, t-shirts, and much more. Other stores sold clothing, accessories, books, toys, etcetera. Restaurants included international chains such as Burger King but also local ones such as Boldu, where we enjoyed cute and tasty donuts. Other resturants served tapas, sushi, chocolates, wines, coffees, etcetera. Overall, I think that this airport terminal had a decent number and variety of stores and restaurants to spend time while we waited for our flight.

Barcelona Airport was our hub for our travel to/from Spain and to surrounding cities, and I have to…read moresay, this airport ran pretty efficiently without any sort of pre-check of US travelers. When we arrived, getting through customs took under 30 minutes with a pretty long line, which we thought was a win. What I appreciated about this airport in comparison to US airports I've been to is how well stocked and maintained their priority pass lounges were. Depending on if you are flying out the EU or going back to the States, they have separate lounges, which we found out after standing in line for the wrong one on our way home lol. The lounges themselves offered decent food and plenty of drink options (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and plenty of spaces to sit. Easily some of the best priority pass lounges we experienced so far. The airport is massive, with tons of shopping and food options. Coming from the States, things are way more expensive at airports but here it felt like it was slightly more expensive but manageable. Definitely an airport that if you had a significant delay, you'd have an easier time passing time at.

I purchased the tickets online and…read morewas instructed to download the app. Within the app there is access to the tickets and the audio tour once you arrive that describes the different sections. The exterior is so beautiful and resembles a sea creature. He was known to get his inspiration from nature and it shows throughout Casa Batllo. The tour took about an hour. We went early in the day to avoid a long wait time. There are some gift shops in different sections throughout the tour and they also had an option to take a photo on the balcony which was available for purchase. Overall it was a nice experience!

You get a discount for purchasing tickets online, which I did, but then I had an issue accessing…read morethem, so they helped me at the box office without an additional charge. It was a bit crowded when I was there midday so it could be hard to get pictures without people, but it wasn't too bad. It is a beautiful building and I think well worth a visit. I did the audio tour which I thought was good.
