Hwy 264/Discount Shoes has never been known for customer service, only their wide selection of retailers. But even that won't bring me back after today's experience.

I was miffed after waiting in line for over twenty minutes. Clerk listed as SGilbert on receipt but no way to know if that was real name. Good selection, poor business model and customer service. They are knowledgeable and well versed in the different types of sneakers. They found me some wonderful inserts for my sneakers, narrow by the way, and those sneakers feel even better.

The associate was nice and helped my mom out with using the machine that helps with insoles. We purchased the shoes and insoles that day. The second time I went in knowing exactly what color/size Birkenstocks I wanted. The associate grabbed them and checked me out right away, and informed me I had $15 off which I didn't know I had. This 3rd time I went in and bought a pair as a gift. The receiver didn't love the color and I was able to return them with the shoes and the receipt. No hassle or anything. They were very friendly about trying to pick a different shoe. Only bummer is that they can't order colors they don't carry (ie saw a color on the Brooks website but they don't carry it and can't order it). It's nice to have a place where you can get a pair of shoes that are an investment and know that you're going to be helped to find the best shoes for you. Highly recommend.

They were not busy but having conversations among themselves. One of the clerks looked my way and turned their head. I have purchased several pair from them everything from HOKA's to Vionic but never again. I guess they did not think I could afford them...their loss.
