    My 85 year old veteran friend of over 35 years needed to sell his house and move quickly…read more He had already lost 100% of his vision in one eye and was quickly losing it in his other eye. Soon he would be unable to live alone. He signed with Kelly Monger of Smoky Mountain Reality. Then be asked me to be his representative and attorney-in-fact for the sale so he could move across the state before the house actually got sold. I agreed and an Attorney-in-Fact was signed, notarized and recorded. Everything having to do with the sale of the house was to go through me. Kelly Monger from the start was NOT working in his best interests. She 1st argued with him to lower the price to about $20,000 below it's value. Then she sent me an offer that was for about 1/2 that value from a person who she acknowledged she had a business relationship with. I tried to decline the offer but both the 'Decline; and the 'Counter-offer' buttons were disabled. Then I discovered she had the sqft and the bedroom count of the house NOT including the entire ground floor. Also the description of the house was the worst I have ever read in my over 50 years of being a Real Estate investor. It took weeks of instructing her to correct anything. The inactive-button thing happened again on another ridiculously low offer. Despite being told to only work with me, and only in writing (I hate he-said, she-said) Kelli called my friend repeatedly to accept the low offers. When a still low offer, $30,000 below the listing price, came in I was going to decline it but Kelli called up my friend and verbally assaulted him over and over again until he called me and instructed me to accept the offer. He was actually trembling when he called me. Unfortunately, even though I knew that if would just wait a few more weeks he would get a reasonable offer, because I finally got Kelli to change the BLS to properly reflect the houses true size and bedroom count, being his agent I legally had to do what he instructed. I signed. Then just a week before closing it was discovered Kelli has snuck in a $10,000 payback to the buyer. It was hidden where there is never any modifications ever put in that 'boiler-plate' area of the 11-page contract. Know that Kelli was told before I signed that there would be no pre-paids, buy-downs or other paybacks agreed to at the offered price, none! Thus my friend got beat out of $40,000 by Kelli Monger of Smoky Mountain Reality. I recommend to keep away from Smoky Mountain Realty and especially Kelly Monger.

She helped us to maneuver every detail and with such a fast market, she was flexible during our trip out here; we were able to add new houses to view, giving her merely hours notice. She was willing to do whatever she could, to make our time here worth it. We found a house and honestly - we owe it all to her!! We could not have done this without her!! Thank you Val!!

He sold…read moremy home for full asking price in THREE days in my subdivision that had not sold any homes in the recent past. AND I was out of state and he handled everything for me. Seamlessly. Now I've moved back to Knoxville and needed to purchase a home quickly in this difficult market. He found the perfect place and negotiated for me to buy it (with many competing offers) in FIVE days. He also got a closing in FOURTEEN days. Again, miraculous in this market. He has even provided references for excellent contractors to remodel the home in a reasonable timeframe. The most amazing thing about Blake is that he cares. He truly cares. It doesn't matter to him if you are a buyer or seller or if you are a $200,00 buyer or a million dollar buyer. Tried again Saturday and Sunday but no call back. Go there for open house but apparently it had been canceled. That afternoon a contract had been made on Sunday. A realtor did call me Monday morning to let me know it was no longer available. Claim they never received my message on Friday or Saturday. Wanted to know what number I called. The same one I called on Sunday, but you got that message.It's hard to find one level condo that doesn't need work in oak ridge. To many companies to ever give them my business Your response is incorrect and childish. Reading through your reviews, it would be in your best interest of your company, not to respond to one stars. Maybe you should think about a career change. Best of luck!
