While I have been here multiple times and was super excited to find a used bookstore nearby. I recently went in looking for a particular book. I opened my phone pulling the book up on a webpage to make sure I got the name of the author correct. The link I pulled up was Amazon. It was just the first thing to pop up and I was literally there to find a used copy of this book. I wanted to use the bookstore instead of using a resource available to me that I don't love using. Instead of being polite and helping me. The two people working berated me for "helping buy a rich guy a new yacht" and "I should just use ChatGPT to tell me the book" if I was willing to shop on Amazon. Not once did I mention ordering it off Amazon. I simply pulled the link up for the book info. My friend and I tried to leave and were told to use other sites. Which I can appreciate, but not after the rude attitude over something such as a LINK on my phone. When I finally managed to inch my way to the exit. They had the audacity to tell me I should check out their other sections of the store next time I'm in. One of them seemed to be back peddling because they realized they were making us uncomfortable, but it didn't work. Needless to say. I won't be returning to this store and found the book I was looking for elsewhere. A disappointing visit that left me very uncomfortable and attacked. Supporting local businesses is wonderful and I love to do it. But not at the expense of my comfort and this trip was uncomfortable to say the very least. read more

I have to say, I truly enjoyed my time in this store. SO MUCH to see, so much to enjoy and the staff member who was working was EXTREMELY pleasant and fun to chat with. My stop in here was a quick in and out, trying to find a couple of books I needed for my expanding collection. I did not see them but found a ton of other bargain books I just had to have. Prior to checking out we struck up a conversation with the lady working (owner?) and talked books, retail work, the city and location and I really found her to be such a nice and genuine person who seemed to really care about her customers. The store is nearly a full 3 hours from me but I often think about trying to find other places to go in town to justify returning to browse her store more. read more

In the words of Michelle Tanner, "HOW RUDE!" entered into this cute little store and the lady was not very chipper--i asked if there were kitties on site due to the name and NOPE she was happy to inform me that the family had allergies, ummmm okay why name a store after cats then? Also they have children's toys on display at children's level and my well behaved grandchild grabbed a bag of marbles to talk to me about it and she was quick to let me know they don't want the children touching everything---it's a freaking store we want to touch and possibly buy. Due to her attitude I walked out--she could have had the best product and the best prices but what a stinker of a woman---not today lady not today! read more

Super cute! The ladies that were working the store were super friendly! Magical place, wonderful experience!

This place is awesome!! As soon as you walk in you smell the herbs and candles. All of a sudden you feel at peace. They also have used books. It is absolutely my heaven. They have so much to choose from you can spend hours here. The owner, Wendy Rosnau, is also a famous author. She is very friendly . The best part is when you bring in books, they give you a high percentage of the cover price for trade credit. Then when you want to buy, you can use the credit. It is a good system to keep coming back. They get so much in everyday from people bringing in their own books, its hard not go go there everyday!! You rock!! read more
