My stop in here was a quick in and out, trying to find a couple of books I needed for my expanding collection. I did not see them but found a ton of other bargain books I just had to have. Prior to checking out we struck up a conversation with the lady working (owner?) and talked books, retail work, the city and location and I really found her to be such a nice and genuine person who seemed to really care about her customers. The store is nearly a full 3 hours from me but I often think about trying to find other places to go in town to justify returning to browse her store more.

I opened my phone pulling the book up on a webpage to make sure I got the name of the author correct. The link I pulled up was Amazon. It was just the first thing to pop up and I was literally there to find a used copy of this book. I wanted to use the bookstore instead of using a resource available to me that I don't love using. Instead of being polite and helping me. The two people working berated me for "helping buy a rich guy a new yacht" and "I should just use ChatGPT to tell me the book" if I was willing to shop on Amazon. Not once did I mention ordering it off Amazon. I simply pulled the link up for the book info. My friend and I tried to leave and were told to use other sites. Which I can appreciate, but not after the rude attitude over something such as a LINK on my phone. When I finally managed to inch my way to the exit. They had the audacity to tell me I should check out their other sections of the store next time I'm in. One of them seemed to be back peddling because they realized they were making us uncomfortable, but it didn't work. Needless to say. I won't be returning to this store and found the book I was looking for elsewhere. A disappointing visit that left me very uncomfortable and attacked. Supporting local businesses is wonderful and I love to do it. But not at the expense of my comfort and this trip was uncomfortable to say the very least.

I was really rushed this day and my daughter didn't want to look around anymore because there was just too much. This is a great place for souvenirs if you are looking for that. Lots of unique kitchen stuff. A whole kids toys section. A few food items, like premade soups and dips. A small jewelry section. A whole shoe store in the back. It is very organized for having so much stuff in one place. The employees are usually very friendly there too. Prices are decent, it's a place where if you need the items then and there it is ok but you can probably find a better deal elsewhere.

I was overcharged by $139.42. The credit/debit machine was not working, so she added up my purchases and wrote the amount down ($218.00) on her business card. I provided her my credit card information to complete transaction when her equipment was functioning. When my statement arrived, I found she had charged me $357.42. I have made 4 phone calls to rectify situation as she could have mistakenly added another person's merchandise onto my transaction. To date (one month) I have not received a return phone call or a credit. BUYER BEWARE!

The store was pleasant and appeared to carry many beautiful instruments. I encountered an older gentleman behind the counter. Me: "Excuse me. I'm wondering if you rent instruments by the month?" Him: "Yes we do. What kind of instrument are you looking for?" M: "An electric guitar." H: "For yourself or...someone else?" M: "For myself." (WTH???) H: "No. I'm sorry. We Don't rent those." M: (Looking around) "Ok, do you sell them?" H: "Yes, in the back of the store. There's a gentleman back there that can help you." I thank him and navigate my wheelchair carefully through the rows of instruments to reach the electric guitars. There was a younger man towards the rear of the store, busily unpacking a large box. Man" Hi. Are you looking for something?" Me: "Yes, I'm looking for an electric guitar." He nods and turns back to his work. I browse the selection and see several that I like. Unfortunately a couple are hanging up on the wall much higher than I can reach from my wheelchair. Me: "That one is beautiful! I'd love a closer look." The young man gives me a nod, then returns to unpacking his bos, turning his back to me. Now I'm getting confused at the peculiar customer service. I browse the rest of the selection of guitars that I could reach, eventually get tired of being ignored, and roll out of the store without another word from either man. Apparently, they are particular about what type of person gets the privilege of giving them money. I'll buy my guitar elsewhere.
