I noticed a lot of teenagers walking around, and the whole place feels lively in a way that teenagers would love. The outdoor areas, the open walkways, and the spots to sit or take pictures don't cost anything at all, which makes it easy to have fun there without needing a plan. I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy until I walked around and saw how welcoming and upbeat the whole marketplace feels. It surprised me how comfortable it was to just be there without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by the crowds. Even though it's a shopping and entertainment center, it gives teenagers a great place to hang out, take photos, listen to music, or just be creative while exploring the different areas. I only visited Desert Ridge Marketplace one time in my life before making this review, but it ended up being one of the most enjoyable and youthful places I've been to in a long time. I never doubted that the experience would turn out the way I hoped it would. I've lived for 24 years, but in the summer of 2024 I learned that I'm still physically and mentally 18 years old, and that my prefrontal cortex is more developed than the average 25‑year‑old's. Maybe that's why I connect so much with places that feel playful, social, and full of energy. I would highly recommend that teenagers go to this marketplace because it gives them a fun, open space to enjoy themselves, walk around, and feel creative. I loved the decision that was made with the variety of store they have there. I also loved the service there.

I recognized a few of the vendors from my frequented Carefree Market. The market is a block of vendors selling soaps, produce, handmade items, dog treats and goodies and then some. High Street has mostly restaurants and a few storefronts. Many of the stores were not open on Sunday. If you want massive shopping opportunities, drive over to Desert Ridge. free street and lot parking.

There are a couple of restaurants that I frequent here like Hulu's, Blue Martini and The Boozy (now closed). Torch is a good place to grab a cigar. High Street will occasionally host events. I have been here a couple of times for their cars shows. Classic cars line the streets for people to view and enjoy. They put up lights and a Christmas tree during the holidays which makes the area beautiful to see from the freeway. Apartments aren't cheap here. But you are paying for the amenities and for being close proximity to all of the options that High Street has to offer.

Love the areas around here, and would not mind living around here. This particular shopping center has many businesses to check out, besides what is listed in my posted picture! (Primo's /Tailgaters Pizza & Wings, The Creek Patio Grill, Cookies & Cream, Chase Bank, Ace Hardware, the gas station/convenience store, etc!,.. CVS is across the street, a nail salon, Fatburgers, etc across the other street!),.. And we are excited to venture around here!

I gave the Center 4 stars because depending on the time and day, the free parking can be a commodity. I was headed to Glendale and a wee bit early for my meeting. This place is easily accessible from the freeway and has good access back. I hadn't visited this Center in years so it was a nice comeback and exploring type of trip. Free outdoor parking and WiFi at many of the larger stores and restaurants.

We remarked with time to spare for the movie. We sat outside catching up on the internet. I ran over to It's Sugar to see about some treats. Huge shared parking lot and free WIFI in the center.

Found these guys on Backpage.com selling 25 round magazines for a Ruger 10-22. The price was…read moredouble but that is because of Congress trying to implement the 94 weapons ban that limits magazines to 10 rounds. They also sell guns but you need to call them to see what is in stock. What this place is known for is selling sports cards and they do not have guns on display but give them a call.
