NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP....owner is a complete asshole. I had the day off of work and some time to kill so I bought a couple things and was doing research before I made a 200-300$+ purchase. Apparently an hour is too long to spend in the store because the owner/manager pos told me to leave. This place has horrible phone service which drained my phone battery and while wanting to make an educated decision on an expensive purchase my phone died and he did let me charge it. But not long after he cited that as a reason to ask me to leave like I was lounging around in his shop. Go to TJ smokes or any other shop. Never giving this store another dollar, only bright side is the nice girl he hired who was very accommodating. Do better. read more

Disclaimer: I am not well versed this these products. That said, I had a very good experience at this shop, as well as their other locations in Carrboro and South Durham. The staff at all three locations are friendly, which I found is not always the case at these places. They seem to have a good selection and don't mind talking about the products and giving an informed opinion. I can't comment on the prices, but they seem reasonable. First off, they don't allow you to test the juices. All you can do is smell them. I know the stupid law has some restrictions regarding sampling, but other places got around it through memberships and this place does have a membership. But for some reason, you can only smell them. Second, they are always really short on inventory. I always come in and they never have the juices I want in 3 mg. They always say they are getting restocked tomorrow. Regardless what day you come in, the shipments are scheduled to come in the next day. That lie just really irks me. Third, they advertise juices they don't have. I see a sign for a juice and ask for it, and they tell me, "Oh, we stopped carrying that 3 years ago." Why are you advertising it then? Update your signs! However, there are 2 good things I can say. One, the staff has good customer service. They're attentive and knowledgeable. Second, the membership they have has a good rewards system. It seems you rack points quickly and get a few bucks off every time you go there. However, they are a little pricey to begin with so it's one of those "1 step forward, 2 steps backwards" kind of things. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place and I won't be returning. read more

I stopped at Cloud Vape Lounge this past weekend to buy a battery. When I went to test the battery, the light turned on, but there was no vapor produced. Since it was a new battery, I let it charge overnight. However, even with the charge, nothing changed, and the battery did not produce any vapor. I checked to see if my cartridge was the component with the problem. The cartridge worked with another battery, so it would seem that the battery was bad. When I went back to the store, the employee seemed helpful, but he did not have authority to process a return as he was new. He called the manager, JJ, and explained my situation. After speaking for a while, they let me know that they were unable to return a product unless it was defective. Even though the battery seemed defective, they were not willing to give me my money back. They said I can exchange for another product and pay the difference, but they would not issue a refund. There are several vapor shops around this area, and I've been to most of them. Almost all the vape shops I've been to have friendly, and genuinely helpful customer service. The customer service at Cloud is by far the worst. I really wish I could like Cloud since it is so close to my work, but this most recent interaction has left a bad taste in my mouth. I would steer clear of this place and go with one of the many other vape shops. If you buy any item from Cloud Vape Lounge and it has a problem, just know that they do not honor their own return policy. Would rate 0 stars if possible. read more

I discovered this place about 2 months ago. A coworker of mine let me try a flavor, I liked it, he told me where it was. The customer service I get from this place is just flat out awesome. I usually interact with John when I go in there after work to pick some stuff up. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant to work with. I find myself actually spending more time than I intended in there just chatting, asking questions, and checking out the huge selection of flavors they have. My current choice has actually gone through a branding change and cleared out. He spent as much time as he needed guiding me through a ton of different choices until I could find the one that would satisfy me until the new version of my favorite arrives. A week ago, I had an issue of the store opening late. It's a bit of a drive for me to go there on my day off so I was a bit frustrated. I messaged the owner who runs the Facebook page and that was when I knew I was going to remain a customer permanently. Mistakes happen, I understand this. What is important to me is how they are handled and it's clear that's important to this business as well. He even got a bottle of the new version of my favorite on the way to hold me over until the main restocking shipment comes in. They keep 0MG versions of every flavor open so you can smell them and if really needed drip onto your own coil to try. Don't try to fill your tank any with it as that won't give you an accurate representation of the flavor. Drip directly onto the coil and saturate it a bit, that will allow what you are trying to completely dominate whatever flavor you have in your tank at that moment. At some point I will probably dive into RBA's and I know this place will be the perfect business to help me get into that area. Their prices are certainly good enough and with the customer service I get there I don't even care to price shop. It is just a very pleasant place to be. read more

I highly recommend his vape shop!! My friend and I came here after I had a terrible experience at the Avail vape shop in Durham near 15/501. The gentleman here was so nice and took his time explaining all the mods to me as I was new to vaping and was looking for an"middle of the line" product. He took out all the models, explained them to me, showed me how to use the one I picked, and help me find a flavor of juice I wanted. He was so nice and set it all up for me and had me use it in the store to make sure I was happy and ready to go. I will be back!!! It's so worth the drive for the amazing service and prices!! When I went to avail the only thing the pinhead behind the counter could talk about was how he had been "Vaping for half a decade" and that he was "Advanced" and that "You need to buy the $30 pen because you're just not advanced and shouldn't buy a $75 device"...... really???? I will NEVER go to any Avail vape shop again. The dude there was even an a**hole to customers on the phone while we were there. Once I made it clear I really didn't want the cheapest device they had he basically just blew me off and treated me like a moron and proceeded, no less that 5-7 more times, to tell me how "Advanced" he was. I had quit vaping for about two years. Recently, I picked up a pack of cigarettes, and was smoking again. Wifey was quick to get me back on the vape wagon and off cigarettes. Chris, behind the counter, was super helpful. He asked a few questions about what I was looking for. More importantly, he listened to my needs. He was not in a hurry to sell something and was incredibly patient as I asked questions about the options. When I left saying, "I want to keep looking around." Chris was like, "Sure thing - let me know if we can help." After looking at a few other places close by - I came back and bought the device I had tentatively settled on earlier. While still in the store, Chris walked me through how to prime the coil and I was in vaping bliss. Super rich clouds with strong and delicious flavor! It was EXACTLY the experience I was looking for. Later I checked prices online and was pleasantly surprised to find the price was the same as if I had gone that route. I visit this shop regularly. The employees are always friendly and extremely helpful. They always give GREAT customer service and make sure you will find what you need. They have a really great selection of e-liquids which are very reasonably priced. Although mods and tanks are a bit more expensive, it's typical to trade some the price brake from buying online for a knowledgeable employee who is happy to help anyone less experienced or with a couple questions. I drove here 2/13/18. Just to be honest as possible. I came here for the CBD. I bought the 500mg of SVG. They only had 2 options the 500/100 ranging from $70-$100.00... This product does nothing but provide a Watermelon taste. They only had 3-4 flavors and no small cartridge which I've gotten at local smoke shops for $25.00 and definitely had a noticeable thc effect, none of the products in this particular store will have that effect, if that's what you're looking for. Let me save you $70+ all you will have is a fruity taste/smoke flavor... The guy was nice in the store, I was likely the first customer. But yeah no thc response. either go black market or go to legal state. Had to edit this review. Went there when I ran low on juice, had never been before. Walked in and was greeted by a young gentleman who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Took his time, no rush. Very clean and organized place. Professional without being stuffy. Kind of pricey but they have to pay rent along with everything else. Certainly not outrageous. I would highly recommend them.
