In general their pricing is reasonable and if it is a more complex problem with your car you can usually leave it with them and they will fix it within the same day (unless they need to order in parts for you, in which case it will take longer). Being a woman I often worry that I will be ripped off by garage owners who think that I may not know anything about cars. I do think these guys are genuine and not con artists (obviously they are a business so want to make money) and only do what is necessary to ensure your car runs smoothly!

They were extremely helpful as well as friendly and polite on the telephone and were able to arrange for us to bring the car in immediately to get it looked at. Since then, we have had to use their services a couple of times to fix problems on the same vehicle and always the telephone manner has been extremely courteous, the staff in the office have been polite and helpful when we have dropped the car off or picked it up, and the actualy work which has been done on the car has been of a high standard. Unfortunately, the downside is the extortionate pricing, which I suppose is nothing out of the ordinary for a dealership, but at least you get good customer service for your money.

I had nothing but trouble with the car,and took it to a reputable dealer who check out the Land rover, it turned out to have many many faults and problems in fact the report stated it was the worse Land rover they had seen in a long while, I was very disappointed and angry that I had been deceived by Oakwood Garage. Craig and the owner Mikey said they would give me a full refund on the back of the damming report, and tricked me into returning the car, once back with them, they refused a refund, and held me to ransom stating they would fix a few minor problems, and I was with out a car and they had my money, so in the end I agreed as I was in a no win situation. Its fair to say at this point I contacted the RAC to be told they had cancelled the policy so no recall there, in the end I had to accept the car back with a few things sorted out, but realising I had been conned and was out of pocket. What they do is sell cheap on the internet, draw you in on the RAC rubbish and then sell you a duff car with all kinds of problems, very dis honest business.

They have got excellent after sales service. I have never known a little garage with this kind of commitment to their customers. The price of their cars are always reasonably good value as well. The cars they sell are not bad quality either. The mechanics are extremely helpful and nice as well. When they fix any problem of my car, they always try to minimise the cost of repairing it, which saves me money as well. Overall, I would recommend this garage.

The guys came out to where I staying and took my wheel away advising me that it would take a day due to the nature of the cracks-came back next day with the wheel looking like brand new. Also gave me someone tips as to why it happened in the first place -as I have genuine BMW wheels it was down to the pot holes in the roads and my run flat alloys bearing the brunt if I accidently hit one. I found Wheelright Alloy wheel refurbishment online and decided to use them as they were local to…read moreme. I went to the workshop where I was met by the owner David. I explained that my son had kerbed his wheel and also had a spare alloy to put on whilst the repairs were being done. David suggested that we repair the spare as the kerbed one on the car wasn't that bad. The spare alloy was, in my opinion, totally beyond repair. I wish I had taken a photo of it before I left! Wheelright have repaired this alloy, and it looks brand new. The transformation is absolutely amazing. Me being a car enthusiast, I am always wary of anyone working on my cars. All I can say is give these guys a call and you wont be dissapointed. The quality of the workmanship and finished product is first class, but also the quality of customer service is second to none and alot of people like myself find this appealing. My initial meeting with David and the guys was great. He explained in detail what he would do to repair the alloy. David came to my house when the wheel was ready and took the kerbed alloy away so he could swap the tyres over for me. Then he brought the repaired alloy back with the original tyre and fit it to my sons car. Then he explained in detail the after care process for the alloy wheel. They always give you an honest quote and i've always found it very reasonable. The guys in the garage are friendly and being a lady they dont talk down to me or treat me like i'm stupid as most garages would.
