Lovely little coffee shop in Coron. Quaint seating upstairs. And the food we ordered was delicious…read more Nice view of the docks upstairs also.

We were back in Coron for under a week. I almost immediately got to a point where I was craving…read moresomething other than grilled pork belly because while that stuff is bomb, it does get old if you're eating it every day in the Philippines. We went here like 4 times during our visit. When the owner is there (and she usually is), this place is amazing. Menus arrive to your table quickly, espresso drinks come out at record speeds and everything runs smoothly. We even requested our tricycle driver to swing by here to quickly pick up coffee before an island hopping tour. The owner was there and we were off to our boat in no time with our drinks in hand. The food is alright. It's perfect if you're wanting something other than Filipino food for a change. We had their oatmeal & fruit bowl a few times. My sister in law really liked their egg and cheese croissants. We all really liked the smoothies. We had high hopes for their sandwich, but didn't care for the sweet mayo served with it... And there was so much of it! Maybe in the future, they can serve it on the side instead. When the owner is not at the store, the place is run quite differently. We went at night and we were barely acknowledged and they were braiding each other's hair in the kitchen... Which didn't really seem sanitary. We also waited so long for the same orders that were able to come out in 5-10 minutes. Overall, if/when I go back to Coron, I'd go to this place again. Hope they work out some issues! Otherwise, this place is actually filling a very important niche in the island and doing it well. They have decent WiFi and some more Western food and drink offerings. It's a great spot to stop by to pick up drinks or to meet up with family/friends before going off on an adventure.

A true natural wonder -- surreal, serene, and unforgettable…read more This UNESCO World Heritage Site lives up to the hype. The boat ride into the Underground River is equal parts peaceful and awe-inspiring, with limestone formations that look like something out of a fantasy film. Stalactites and stalagmites twist and stretch in eerie, beautiful shapes -- your guide will point out ones that look like the Holy Family, vegetables, and even a T-Rex. The experience is incredibly well-organized. From Sabang Wharf, you'll take a short boat ride to the park entrance, followed by a quick scenic walk through the jungle (keep an eye out for monkeys and monitor lizards). The underground portion lasts about 45 minutes, with an audio guide in your language of choice -- helpful for learning without interrupting the cave's stillness. Pro tips: Wear sandals or waterproof shoes -- it can get muddy. Bring a light jacket or scarf -- it's cool inside the cave. Book ahead -- the number of visitors per day is limited, and it fills up fast. Whether you're into geology, nature, or just once-in-a-lifetime experiences, this is a must-do while in Palawan. Quiet, majestic, and truly one of the most unique tours in the Philippines.
