Maureen Brockson The Roofer I was stupid enough to hire…read moreordered 20 sheets of wood to put under my shingle at 85 dollars a sheet, they only used 13 of them. They also took full boxes of stuff back with them when they left. I guess that is why It is leaking in the back room after they did the roof. They had insurance if I bought a certain shingle, the same price as the other shingles and it was mostly for wind damage. They did not register the shingle for that insurance, so basically they stole 300.00 dollars off of me. I put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, a month ago, but they did not put that there was a complaint on record after 30 days, if they didn't respond, you guessed it, they didn't respond. At around the same time,, I had my breast cancer surgery, and 2 days later I broke my wrist. I told them I was paying by check or cash because I would get a discount. They dropped their work crew of Mexicans (they asked me if I would be offended) I told them I didn't care what color or anything else, if they knew how to put a roof on, I was okayed with that. They didn't drop back about getting their payment that day, Early in the morning I got a call from sales, who said he was sending someone for the check, but said I could not because I couldn't write or sign it. He sent someone anyway and said he( would have someone help me write the check, I refused the person who came, I was still in my nightgown, and I was going to the bank later. They said the big boss was not going to be happy. So the big boss called me and said he heard I would not pay them. It pissed me off, I had to wait for months for them to come out to do the roof, after paying a large deposit, then showing me a list of 30 or more roofs that was before me, and he already had my check and it was a large cancellation fee. I said I was going to the bank, and it was the same bank he used. All I had to do is transfer the money. In total, it was over 11,000 dollars for a double-wide house, that was mostly flat. I paid probably 2000 dollars for the stuff they took back or more. I called them about the 300.00 dollars for the insurance, and they had a group of roofers go by my house, heckling me, I guess to intimidate me. You don't mess with a Philly girl, we just get mad! I recieved quotes from other contractors who insisted they would have to rip everything out and replace everything with new stuff. Shane gave me an estimate that was much better and was able to use most everything from the old install. He saved me a lot of money and did an amazing job. The installation actually LOOKS BETTER and FUNCTIONS BETTER than it did when it was completely new. We will contract with him for every job going forward.

How refreshing to deal with a knowable competent contractor…read more I did some research and the products they used to put a shingle roof on my house were high quality and they look outstanding. They were there when they said they would be, their crew is personable and motivated, there was NO standing around talking, loud music playing, yelling to talk to each other, they were a joy to be around. They started at 8 am, exactly when they said they would, had a 4 man crew, 2 worked on the front and 2 on the back, and finished around 4 pm. I highly recommend this company and would hire them again to do work for me. Thanks Proctor Enterprises PS and they paid my English setter attention, so my whole house was happy

The fence is solid, it looks good, and when we discovered an issue with the gate, he had someone out to repair it the next day no extra charge. I think gutters and fences are his primary thing, but he subcontracts for electrical and plumbing and both of those guys were great too. We've had them replace a fused lightswitch and reseat two toilets. Easy to work with. Edit: I live in Painted Post.
