I knew exactly what I wanted and was on a mission. The shop itself is absolutely gorgeous and the bridal suites have so much room and a few comfy chairs for guests. Brooke was my stylist and she was absolutely amazing. After trying on a few dresses from the sample rack, Brooke was honing in on details about what I liked and didn't like. She ended up finding my dream dress and paired it with the PERFECT veil. Though the dress wasn't from the sample rack, it was still cheaper then some of the sample options!! I'm so glad she allowed me to explore additional options from what we originally came in for. She was amazing in bringing my vision to life and was even pairing things from other gowns to help me envision customization options (I ended up ordering the dress with sparkle tulle on the second layer, just like she showed me!). I can't thank Brooke and TWM for making the whole experience a dream come true and helping me find the perfect dress!!!

It gets worse. We purchased a small amount of additional fabric to add to the bodice and were told this would be done with no additional charge," only to be presented with a significant additional charge when we picked up the dress. And finally, when we had confirmed a time to pick up the dress for tailoring, and left messages during that day to remind them we were coming and at what time, we arrived to a closed store - even though we were safely within their hours of operation. Did they apologize? No. Did they give any sense that they felt bad for leaving us high and dry? Nope. I would encourage anyone thinking about using the store to save time, money, and grief by looking elsewhere.

I'm already married and was planning on doing a wedding photoshoot with my husband before undergoing cancer treatment. I didn't have a set date for my photoshoot, just needed it done before my surgery. Well she cancelled my order after trying to pawn off another random dress on me because she couldn't get her distributor to tell her when they would get the dress shipped out. Overall horrible experience, I sent 6 text messages to her total before she called me offensive just because I kept asking her when I'd be getting the dress and to not throw another dress at me for conciliation. She never asked me what I was looking for before suggesting something else and when I told her what I was looking for she was insanely rude, trying to smart mouth me. I work in a white collar professional field and I felt I was writing her in a very professional manner and she simply didn't like how direct I was. After she cancelled on me I ended up buying two beautiful wedding dresses from "brides for a cause" for the same price of her one dress. She had already pulled some dresses based on the inspo pictures I sent over, and then I also perused the racks to pick some items I wanted to try on as well. I tried on 4 dresses, but I knew the 2nd dress I tried on was the one the moment I put it on. This was one of the dresses Lauren had already pulled for me. We discussed alteration potential, and she referred me to their alterations place that does great work, I was able to get in that following Tuesday morning for alterations without any issues. Lauren helped me find EXACTLY what I wanted in a wedding dress and within my price range - the effort she put in and how great she was during our appointment just made everything feel so smooth and seamless. This was one of the bigger stressors on my wedding to-do list and I'm just super grateful that it ended up being one of the easiest things to check off of my list - and I owe a great deal of that ease to Lauren and The Dressing Room St Pete. At no point did anyone acknowledge how upsetting the situation was or offer to expedite getting her dress back so she could leave. The attitude was essentially wait until we're ready, regardless of how she felt. This is a bride getting married next month, already under pressure, and instead of being treated with empathy, she was made to sit and wait while her concerns were dismissed. The dress itself may be beautiful, but the way she was treated today was unacceptable. If you're considering this boutique, understand that once there is a problem, you may be met with indifference instead of support. Brides deserve patience, respect, and understanding, especially in moments like this. Based on what I personally heard and witnessed today, I will absolutely be warning others about this boutique. If you are a bride looking for a happy, supportive, and honest experience, this is not the place to go.

I'm leaving this review to be transparent and help other brides avoid the same situation…read more I want to be clear that I am happy with the dress itself, however I am very disappointed with my overall experience here. If I had known I would experience what I did, I would not have chosen this boutique in the first place. It's important to note that my dress was off-the-rack, and I fully understood and accepted that it would come with minor imperfections. Because of this, I specifically asked about cleaning and care at the time of purchase. When I purchased my dress, Lindsay, who assisted me during the appointment, told me that spot cleaning, tailoring, and steaming would be around $500-$700, and that it would be on the lower side because I didn't need much work done. I made it clear at the time that I understood she was not the seamstress and that this was a guesstimate, but it was presented as a realistic expectation and part of my decision-making process. Lindsay was very pleasant and helpful, and she also advised me to purchase a corset, which I did and found very helpful. However, her wording was ultimately deceptive, as it did not align with what I was later told or charged. When I raised concerns about the pricing and clearly pointed out that the information given to me was deceptive and that I had been lied to, every staff member involved denied it entirely. There was no accountability, only repeated claims that it was a "miscommunication," followed by statements that it "shouldn't have been said," despite this being clearly discussed at the time of purchase and heard by four other witnesses. Both the seamstress and the front counter staff later told me that I could "get the stains out myself," which was never mentioned at the time of purchase and directly contradicted what I was originally told regarding cleaning and care. To make matters more confusing, the seamstress also stated that she does not do any cleaning or steaming whatsoever, which directly contradicts what was represented to me when I bought the dress. I was also told that if the stains could not be removed, I would need to find and coordinate a dry cleaner on my own. This was especially concerning because I am already on a tight timeline -- I am getting married next month, which is exactly why I chose an off-the-rack dress in the first place. Today, I was quoted $750, not including a $30 credit card convenience fee plus taxes, which pushed the total even higher. To be fair, the boutique did offer to refund the dress, but that was not the issue. The issue was the lack of honesty, transparency, and ownership when concerns were raised. I would also strongly advise brides not to use the seamstress they recommend, as the pricing was significantly gouged. I am currently getting another opinion, and the quote is $200-$300 lower for the same work. Wedding planning requires trust and clear communication. Unfortunately, that trust was broken here. I highly recommend getting everything in writing and seeking outside opinions before committing.

This review is going to be long and it still doesn't give my experience enough justice! Prior to CC's I bought a gown online that I liked. I took my dress to alterations and just wasn't in love with my gown. I wasn't sure if I was in my head or because of my past in pageants I was to use to having glitzy gowns and the gown I picked was very plain. I left alterations feeling very confused and started panicking. I decide I should check out CC's since so many of my clients have bought their wedding gowns from them and only having great things to say. That afternoon I made my way to the boutique without an appointment and so kindly Nikki was able to take me ( I'm pretty sure she understood the panicked look I had lol) I explained what was going on, she was so thorough with asking me questions about what I wanted and even asked to see my current dress. She knew of a gown very similar to mine and wanted to pull it along with the others to make sure it was not the one. When I say she nailed my style and wedding vibe I meant it! I LOVEDDDD EVERY DRESS she picked for me except the one that was similar to my gown I previously bought! I felt like she knew what would look best on me better than I did ! Had the ABSOLUTE BEST DRESS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER with Ariana!!! She was budget conscious, friendly and proved to always have what I was dreaming in mind. She pulled multiple, absolutely beautiful dresses for me to try and could read my expressions as to whether I loved it or didn't. Ariana would provide suggestions to make me more comfortable if i showed that I didn't care for something. The entirety of the staff was polite and pleasant and constantly asked if my guests and I were comfortable and if there was anything they could do for us. We originally went for me, and later came back to try on bridesmaids dresses! Over all it was a ton of fun! The entire staff at CC's off of Kennedy was more than accommodating. This was the first day since I've been engaged where I actually felt like a bride. I did have other appointment that day for dress shopping and Ariana called the other store and explained that I had found my dress and I no longer needed the appointment! I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience at CC's Bridal Boutique in Tampa! Ariana is the BEST. Hands down. She was so friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and efficient. Every dress she pulled for me was amazing. And after having a "not-so-wonderful" experience in the morning at a different bridal shop, she surpassed all my expectations. She pulled a dress for me that was stunning - I loved everything about it, except the straps at the top. I would have passed on the dress, until she told me to keep an open mind - that she could alter the straps for a totally different look. And that's exactly what she did! When I purchased my dress, Lindsay, who assisted me during the appointment, told me that spot cleaning, tailoring, and steaming would be around $500-$700, and that it would be on the lower side because I didn't need much work done. I made it clear at the time that I understood she was not the seamstress and that this was a guesstimate, but it was presented as a realistic expectation and part of my decision-making process. Lindsay was very pleasant and helpful, and she also advised me to purchase a corset, which I did and found very helpful. However, her wording was ultimately deceptive, as it did not align with what I was later told or charged. When I raised concerns about the pricing and clearly pointed out that the information given to me was deceptive and that I had been lied to, every staff member involved denied it entirely. There was no accountability, only repeated claims that it was a "miscommunication," followed by statements that it "shouldn't have been said," despite this being clearly discussed at the time of purchase and heard by four other witnesses. Both the seamstress and the front counter staff later told me that I could "get the stains out myself," which was never mentioned at the time of purchase and directly contradicted what I was originally told regarding cleaning and care. To make matters more confusing, the seamstress also stated that she does not do any cleaning or steaming whatsoever, which directly contradicts what was represented to me when I bought the dress. I was also told that if the stains could not be removed, I would need to find and coordinate a dry cleaner on my own. This was especially concerning because I am already on a tight timeline -- I am getting married next month, which is exactly why I chose an off-the-rack dress in the first place. Today, I was quoted $750, not including a $30 credit card convenience fee plus taxes, which pushed the total even higher. To be fair, the boutique did offer to refund the dress, but that was not the issue. The issue was the lack of honesty, transparency, and ownership when concerns were raised. I would also strongly advise brides not to use the seamstress they recommend, as the pricing was significantly gouged. I am currently getting another opinion, and the quote is $200-$300 lower for the same work. Wedding planning requires trust and clear communication. Unfortunately, that trust was broken here. I highly recommend getting everything in writing and seeking outside opinions before committing.
