Perfect for friendly gatherings, dates, breakfast, a quick coffee on the way to work or even a car show like Cars and Coffee. It says a lot about a coffee house that allows these types of local gatherings to take place in their parking lot. We were in town for the weekend & found this shop on Saturday morning. We've never been to a CC's Coffee House before, but wow, it was fantastic! I got a decaf, iced, sugar-free caramel latte with coconut milk and so did my friend, except with whole milk. They were delicious! Actually better than any coffee-drink we've had in recent memory! My friend also got a cheese & ham croissant, and they said it was really yummy. Additionally, the staff was really nice, and helpful. A few minutes after driving away both of us were already talking about going back later in the day, and tomorrow. (So glad we found this place)! read more

I'm a fan! I'm a coffee snob and a barista veteran so I'm not easy to make happy. But this place makes me happy. I'm happy because they have a manual espresso machine so it takes true skill to make a good cup and you can tell their baristas are well trained. They prepare consistent presses and flavors. The environment is warm and inviting with comfortable chairs, outside seating and individual meeting rooms. They even have a meeting room with a TV and an AppleTV hooked up to it to make presentations. Onto the actual drinks. My brother is in love with their mochas. He was a barista as well and know quality when it's there (or not there). I had a pumpkin pie latte with white chocolate. The espresso was smooth and prominent, it wasn't too sweet, and there was perfect frothy milk making it creamy and delicious. This trip my bro got their Acadiana Black N Berry Tea. He wanted the Honey Peach tea but even though it's on the menu and doesn't say anything about only certain availability, it wasn't available. I think it's their soft opening and they are trying things out, so I hope they have the Honey Peach soon. However the berry flavored tea was refreshing and delicious. I won't give five stars this early on, there's potential here for sure. This visit the 4 stars are for the staff. The girl who made our drinks was pretty quiet but pleasant. However the guy who took our order was a bit of a downer. He didn't seem excited to be there or even to be serving us. Warm and inviting baristas are who make a place like this THE place to keep visiting. A smile, thank you, or "you should try this..." Would go along way to making him seem more friendly and appreciative. The staff in general were pleasant just need a little outgoing sunshine to brighten up my visit. That little change would make this place easily deserving of five stars. read more

To be fair, I didn't try the coffee. Nothing here looked in the least appetizing - not the 'croissants', blah looking muffins, burnt scones, tiny coffee cake..... Whoever makes their stuff desperately needs some inspiration to be more creative. I ended up leaving without buying anything. On the plus side, they had a couple comfy-looking leather chairs next to table with a lamp on it that seemed like itd be nice to sit and read at. read more

I lived in Baton Rouge for 14+ years. I'm a huge fan of Community Coffee so naturally I'm fond of CC's. However the service here is FIVE STARS. They are so friendly. The room is good, the people are nice and the coffee is superb. The "Guilt Free" breakfast sandwich is wonderful. Your choice if meats, breads etc... This place goes above and beyond with customer service. It's my favorite place to do business or just hang out. read more

Nice location with great study spots. The drink I got wasn't the best, but seemed like a great location for business meetings.

Came here today for study date. Quite place with great background jazz music. The cafe is very clean. There is plenty of outlets for laptops to plug in. It seems a other students are there as well and are very courteous to others studying. Some good snacks for a little pick me up. We got a large chocolate chip cookie. It was delicious. So I showed up Sunday morning for the cars and coffee only to find that the whole section in front had chairs blocking that area from parking. After parking we heard a number of people commenting on how they blocked it off the rich peoples cars and it obviously pissed a lot of those car owners off. Everyone who has a car there buys what they can afford and many like myself have put in hundreds of hours fixing them up only to be disrespected and discriminated against because they're not rich and can't afford to just go and purchase a several hundred thousand dollar car of the lot. When I asked why they did that, the young kid said "They had some special cars coming in". I'm sure everyone thinks their car is special and it's just a slap in the face to say rich peoples cars are and yours isn't. Every other place I've been have first come, first serve for parking. A warm Sunday afternoon calls for an iced coffee. CC's is really close to my house, so I decided to stop by after months of glancing at it as I traveled down Hwy 51. I chose to go through the drive-thru, but when I saw inside of CC's at the window, it looked nice and smelled divine! The ordering process was easy. They have a really nice menu by the speaker, and a great selection of coffee, hot or cold. I opted for a grande iced mocha. Our barista was upbeat and happy and that's always good to hear at a drive-thru! When I got my cup, I thought 'oh dang, that's really small for a grande,' but it was absolutely delicious. The chocolate was very rich, and a grande was all I needed! I'll be a frequent customer for CC's from now on and lots of iced mochas will be purchased! read more

Authentic New Orleans, Louisiana style coffee shop with great service. They have a drive/thru, but it's got a great community meeting room which I use when I need a safe, quick spot to meet with clients or friends. If you have never had coffee with chicory infused you are missing out. read more
