Drive through only coffee shop. Great coffee and reasonable prices. Worth the stop.

Finally! Glad to finally be getting around to writing this review. I visited Jackson, MS back in…read moreSeptember. I am a Californian! Going to Mississippi was no easy task. One of my main concerns aside from the humidity and being the South was the quality of their coffee. Coming from a place like San Francisco where coffee is essentially at every corner whether it be a Peets Coffee, Blue Bottle or a Mom and Pops coffee places I am a fan of coffee and I am a snob about it! My first day in Mississippi I spent most of my time looking for coffee, the humidity did not phase me! I needed my fix! At the hotel that I was staying one of the workers recommend I tried Cups. I went to Cups and just the atmosphere shocked me. I felt like I was back in my beautiful cold and foggy San Francisco. When I got to the register I asked the Barista what he recommended and he recommended a Blondie! Blondie was a great coffee, even though I am not a huge Caramel fan, but I thought would give it a try. For the five days that I was in Jackson I went to Cups twice a day. Quinton (I believe this is how you spell his name) was such an amazing barista, but was also really helpful in giving me an insight of Mississippi. Really enjoyed speaking with him. I doubt I will be back to Cups since I don't have any plans to visit MS anytime soon, but for those of us who are coffee lovers and are in MS I highly recommend you give Cups a try! :)

I understand wanting to defend your employee, but your response completely missed the actual issue…read more My frustration was never about the employee's age -- it was about how the situation was handled and the lack of basic customer service afterward. If an employee is old enough to work customer service and represent your business, then they should either be properly trained to resolve simple issues or have management available to step in and make it right. That responsibility falls on the business, not the customer. I paid for my drink, left a tip, and politely asked for it to be remade because it was watery and not made correctly. Refusing to remake it over "wasting product" was disappointing on its own, but the defensive response afterward made the experience worse. Especially considering another Cups location confirmed the drink should have been remade without hesitation. After supporting Cups for over 10 years, I expected a little more accountability and professionalism instead of excuses. Unfortunately, your response only reinforced why I left the review in the first place.

Upon approaching this coffee shop, I was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of parking spaces in…read morethe rear of the building in addition to available parking along the street. I also saw covered outdoor seating. In fact, there were multiple options for seating. I especially admired the design-flow which allowed the customer line to be separated from the seating areas so that the customers don't have to be in the way of those that are seated. The shop is bright and bright the element of outdoors into the interior in a subtle way with its plants and large windows. I'm such a sucker for pleasant greetings and warm hospitality! "You had me at 'Hello! How are you?'" The world could certainly use more kindness and genuine southern hospitality. Now, here's what really wowed the coffee enthusiast/hobbyist in me! Espresso shots were being pulled meticulously with attention to detail, including the use of a scale, which provides for consistency! The flavorings/syrups were not pumped haphazardly from the familiar brand-name syrup bottles. Rather, for my latte, an in-house syrup was carefully measured for the perfect taste! My delicious, honey-cinnamon latte was made with care, attention to detail, quality ingredients, and finesse! Loved it! If I'm ever in Jackson, this will definitely be my go-to spot!

Yes…read morethe coffee is good, yes the space itself is very welcoming, but what really stood out we're the people the employees greeted me with smiling faces and ask about my Day and made small talk while making coffee. They genuinely made me feel welcomed and glad that I had stopped in, which is so rare in today's society. What great folks

If Central Perk had a modern-day twin, it would be Six Day Grind Coffee…read more This place isn't just a coffee shop--it's a whole experience. From the second you walk in, you're not a customer...you're part of the room. The energy is warm, genuine, and honestly rare. The staff? Next level. Not just polite--authentically kind. The kind of people you'd actually want to sit down and have a conversation with. And the coffee? Absolute perfection. Not "good for a local spot"...I'm talking dialed-in, crafted, consistent perfection. You can tell there's pride behind every cup. The food holds its own too--fresh, quality, and thoughtfully done. No shortcuts here. But what really sets this place apart is the vibe. This is the modern-day "Friends" coffee house--the kind of spot where you could post up for hours, meet new people, or just decompress and feel human again. In a world full of transactional, get-in-get-out coffee stops, Six Day Grind is the exact opposite. It's intentional. It's welcoming. It's the kind of place you go once--and then keep coming back because it just feels right. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. Period.
