I first had the rib tips, potato salad, and baked beans. Everything was an Absolute 10! Rib tips were tender, flavorful, and didn't even need the sauce (but the bbq sauce was so good, it was drinkable btw, lol)! I also tried the catfish; it was perfectly crispy with cornmeal batter. I got it with fries and coleslaw. All of the sides were on point! And wait...let me not forget dessert; I had a slice of the best poundcake Ever! I went back for more the next day, and it was sold out (along with the caramel cake). The owners and employees there were incredibly friendly, and welcoming, and even funny! I'm really glad I noticed all the people stopping in for lunch (a good sign), and decided to go in myself. I don't live there, but the food made me wish I did!!! Thank you, Tony's BBQ! Brisket was good, while the Pulled Pork Sandwich was phenomenal. Potato Salad is house made and excellent, we also wanted to try the Mac & Cheese but realized after we had our food that we had gotten 2 sides of Potato Salad however that ended up being fine since it was so good. If you're driving through eastern Mississippi or near Starkville for the university, etc. you should definitely consider stopping here. And for those driving through there's a BP station next door to fuel up your car while you're fueling up your stomach. BBQ Drippins is a great local business well worth supporting.
