At the Broad Street Line stop, there is always someone smoking on the platform, the tracks has so much trash and filth on it, the walls have a lot of stains, the ceilings look like they are deteriorating, the width of the platform from the wall to the edge of the yellow line is very uncomfortable, not that much space. At the MFL stop, the walls also has a lot stains, and the stairs are very dirty. The regional rail station on the other hand is fine, but it ain't great either.

The dispatcher called me back immediately after I left a message with the company, and was friendly and helpful in coordinating travel details for an airport pickup for my parents, who are... not technology friendly. Dispatcher called me back the afternoon of my parent's scheduled arrival with specific info on their driver - name, phone #, etc - in addition to trying to text it to them. (Nice try, my parents don't understand texting.) Their driver called moments after they stepped off the plane, and he was available curbside to them as soon as they'd collected their luggage. I'd warned them that there was quite a bit of luggage, so the driver had even brought an assistant to help him load up. Mom reported that the SUV they sent was clean and well cared for, and still had plenty of room for her, my dad, and their 8 suitcases. Driver was friendly and attentive. Mom could not have been more pleased. She even asked for his card! (Mom NEVER does this, because she finds fault with EVERYTHING.) I think it's safe to say we've found our new transportation service! True that doesn't always say a whole lot with Septa. But it does a pretty good job of connecting West Philadelphia to most of CC. If you miss one another one is bound to come within 15 minutes. And if not then a lot of the green line trolleys aren't to far away from each other. so if you don't like waiting you have enough options. it also connects with the El pretty effectively. Of course I might also be kind of biased since it drops me off in front of my house.
