She was the first to arrive at our destination, and helped orient the guests and was great at introducing herself and providing tidbits of bird-nerd information as we walked the trails of Smith Rock National Park for 45 minutes. This was great for our guests who had never been to Smith Rock before. She took great photos (both directed and spontaneous). Our experience with her at the park, then at Brasada Ranch, and finally at dinner in Bend was that she had a lot of energy to keep up with the hectic nature of a packed schedule, but also took the time to direct us to slow down for special moments and get us to be our natural selves. She was even able to get great photos of my parents - who are extremely shy and avoidant of cameras!
