Let me tell you these people might as well slap a 55+ sign next to a MAGA sign and let you know off…read morerip what they expect. Every young person has been ran off by a woman named hope who lives here. The owners are close friends w her so the second she decides she doesn't like you, you're pretty much going to get kicked out for something. I was literally kicked out over a karaoke song... no I'm not kidding. The owners are extremely right wing and are in a marriage they're unhappy w and that drama definitely spills over into the park. They openly admit they shouldn't be running a business and drink heavily w the residents. I was blamed for a crazy drunk woman named Deborah who came out of her house at 8 pm on a Friday night during spring break and yelled at us to shut the f up even though we had no music playing and were simply talking... the owner having her night of drinking interrupted came out and somehow scolded us telling us "everyone go to bed" like I was a child during a sleepover lol me and my friends did so much to help this place including cutting down bamboo, setting up decorations and even paying out of pocket to install the butterfly garden in the back only to have them turn hateful the second they found out we weren't politically inclined. It's sad bc all the younger people 30 and under have been ran out of the park over the last few months all due to this same political drunken posturing. Would avoid at all costs, also the owners haven't updated this profile (like I said probably shouldn't be running a business...) xzanthia is no longer the owners it's a couple named Jess and bill. Bill walked up to my wife and slapped her hand... when I spoke to Jess on the subject she brushed it off as "too much to drink" but we were still asked to leave because we did a karaoke song. When we left we had two other residents who had been there for yrs leave w us due to the insanely unfair treatment and favoritism shown from the ownership, also multiple pass holders refused to renew bc of the way they chose to handle multiple situations. Absolutely hypocritical borderline facist park avoid at all costs.

It was fairly quiet for being a holiday weekend. There is a pool but we didn't use it. Looked nice. There seems to be a lot of permanent and seasonal residents. Maybe that's why it was quieter. Lot of nearby places like Monkey Island, Yule sugar Mill Ruins, Ellie Schiller State Park. Overall nice experience just like first time we stayed there.

Our reservation packet was in the late-arrival box. Nice color-map with good description of amenities. Beyond this the service was almost non-existent. Bath House was not the cleanest and the men's has only ONE toilet and ONE urinal. There are only TWO showers, although never had to wait. Shower debris were not cleaned during the four days. The left-side sink faucet handle was broken and spews water all over your pants because it has no aerator. Trash dumpsters are located at three corners of the park, but not the main entrance, so not easy to drop trash. I had walked our nightly trash to the bath house only to find no place for it. There was a single trash can by the fire pit but it was overflowing. Quiet: Pretty good here because many of the sites are long-term, so they aren't outside making noise. Cleanliness: Besides the bath house mentioned earlier, parts of the park are okay, like the office, pool and shuffleboard areas. Many of the long-term residents have junk piled up on their properties that detracts heavily from the cleanliness. The back of site F05 has a direct view of the long-term resident behind it and it looks like a junkyard with a lot of broken down items and storage units in very poor condition. Summary: Although the price was good, we decided we wouldn't stay here again unless it was the only place available.
