Visited for the first time on Sat, 8/4/2018. First off, the grounds are beautiful. Surrounded by trees and a creek. Pool is clean, as are the bathrooms. When I arrived, I passed through a secure gate. Was directed to the clubhouse after sign-in. Went directly to the pool. After awhile, regulars started showing up. Man, talk about friendly people. They introduced themselves, asked about me, and invited me to join activities. This will definitely be my Go To place for birthday, holidays and days off. read more

Was there for 4 years. Then when my multiple schelrios got worse and I needed a mobility scooter it was hell. They wanted me to first use and park like a golf cart. Then gave me some spots to park but too far I couldn't use the showers or pool without help. I was new to nudist. It was at first frat like fun for adults. I had men slapping me on my ass including the owner's husband. So I slapped anyone back who did to me first. I thought it was playful. I did for several years. Then I was kicked out. Not once was I told this wasn't acceptable. They used this after I complained about Ada rights. I tried to fight for the disability harassment but got too sick from the stress they caused me to continue. I was hospitalized. read more

Use to go every year to Mike's NudeStock, (refer to Shelly K.'s review, they were great days back then at Cedar Creek for ALL ages and sexes), but since he sold the park years ago, the "rates" look more like they want young females and no real discounts to anyone over 26yr old. 69yo, lifelong Naturist, seems a bit too focused for what reasoning I have no idea. US Army/Retired and happily single- go check the rates page for why "I" would not want to go here when another great SC park welcomes ALL folks with a consistent rates no mater your sex/age,... if you had a great time at Cedar Creek, well they must have liked you I guess- you fit their criteria. As for the clothing optional environment ( I did not know they "went there"),...., I could care less though it is ODD for anyone to want to spend the $$$$ and be clothed around nudists, you can be a LOOKIE- LEW at local gyms for under $50 a month in the locker rooms, and go every day ! LOL!!! (why I don't go to the local civilian gyms, tired of complaining to gym management about this really suspicious behavior and nothing is done to stop it) *CHECK their Rates page and draw your own conclusions and then compare with other parks in South Carolina be a well-informed patron. Always check links to see just what each park Identifies with. **Better nudist environments to go to in SC, even if they are a bit farther still great for a day trip and consistently warm and welcoming family environment membership that does background checks on all those wanting to enjoy a healthy naked environment which is what this whole lifestyle is traditionally about. As for the 3 stars, probably too kind. I tend to stick with AANR, American Association for Nude Recreation approved parks- their logo is always clearly posted proudly on parks' websites. read more

We had the opportunity to visit Cedar Creek several times over the past 6 months and need to say. The only reason we returned was to visit some new friends we met during earlier stays. I'm not sure where to start with regards to a proper an honest review of the RV grounds. Let's start by showing up 20 minutes before the 2PM check-in on our first visit. In hopes of setting up our campsite and beating a storm forecasted to hit the area around 3PM. We were surprisingly informed that an additional $10 charge would be applied to our stay, being we showed up before the 2PM check-in time. We then proceeded to our assigned campsite, discovering the entire campground empty of other campers and ankle-deep uncut grass and weeds. After setting up our campsite. We decided to head over to the bathhouse and shower off the sweat and grim, before walking over to the outdoor pool. Only to find the bathhouse lacking both water pressure, no hot water, filthy conditions, a broken-down sink countertop and busted concrete blocks pushed in the corner from a past plumbing repair. Upon moving onto the outdoor pool. We continued to find heavy neglect and much need upkeep to the grounds itself, but the pool turned out to be unexpectedly pleasant, not large, though adequate to support the number of guests using it that day and plenty of poolside lounge chairs. Next to the pool was a drained inoperative hot tub. Quests noted it had been down for months and we found it mentioned in several year-old Park reviews as being nonfunctioning. The poolside bathrooms were poorly lit and seriously in need of dirt and cobweb cleaning. The main community building was nice and well kept, supporting an indoor pool, another hot tub (water-filled but jets inoperative) pool table, dart board, large dance floor and plenty of seating to accommodate a larger crowd. With regards to the Park' s advertised weekend entertainment. Unless the few times we visited were just bad weekends? It wasn't much to boast about and most of the people (annual members) bailed early and returned to their permanent campsite located in the back area of the Park. Even after our poor experiences. We decided to return twice more to hang with some friends but found NOTHING had changed. No campers in the Park itself, grass uncut, low water pressure, no hot water, inoperative hot tub and unkept bathhouse. Maybe I'm asking too much but at no time during our stays. Did a Park Host or staff member stop by to make an inquiry into how our stay was going and all of this for $115 per night, excluding $25 annual Park fee required the first time we stayed. Sorry to say we will not be returning but will miss some of great annual members who befriended us while we were there. read more

Do NOT go to this nudist resort! We booked online as a last minute weekend option. Got there and the shack we went into to register hasn't been cleaned in like forever. RV sites overgrown with weeds and ant hills. Bathrooms by cabins are disgusting. Poop smeared on toilet seats. Hasn't been maintained in forever. The poor guy that does maintain it can barely walk. Pool is not maintained at all. Overall Disgusting! We also saw another couple having sex outside in front of their RV. This is a nudist resort that has "owners" that go there so they all LOVE it and are in their own groups. Will never go again and will recommend to my friends to stay away! read more

If you haven't tried Clothing Optional and it's on your bucket list, this is the place for you! The regulars are friendly and welcoming to everyone. The Resort is Adult 18 years and over with karaoke some weekends and dj/vj dances weekly. Daytime activities are varied and include lounging by the pool, floating the Creek, hiking the trails, water and sand volleyball, billiards, and darts just to name a few. There are limited accommodations available as well as short term RV sites at reasonable prices. Discounts available for AANR, TNS, Passport America, etc. members. Check the website, cedarcreekresort.net, for policies, rates, and schedule of themes for events. You won't regret a visit here. read more

As someone who is new to the area and was looking to rejoin the 5K race scene, I came across a listing for a clothing-optional 5K at Cedar Creek. My only experience with public nudity was at private events and not at some place where I would meet strangers. It was easy to find with the directions from the website. Checking in was simple as there was only one form to fill out and IDs to show. The race was great fun, though if walking the trail you should be prepared for some sandy spots. The clubhouse had a brief yoga class prior to the race, but I did not participate. I spent time by the pool, participated in the race, won a medal in my age category (by default LOL), and the person accompanying me won a door prize. Lunch was offered for a small fee. Both the indoor and outdoor pool were very active. My second trip to the resort took place on Mother's Day weekend. No kids, no worries, no clothes! I had an opportunity to get in both the outdoor hot tub and the indoor hot tub. The restroom facilities are spacious. I got to chat with some of the people I had met at the 5K race, which was nice and felt welcoming. We brought a cooler this time so we had plenty of drinks since it was a hot, sunny day. We also had the chance to walk down to the dock and see where members and visitors can float the creek. Be sure to bring slip on shoes for around the pool area and walking shoes for the trails. There are areas around the pool for smokers and non-smokers. The facility believes in aluminum can recycling, which is good. There are plenty of lounge chairs, tables with chairs, picnic table, indoor seating, darts and a pool table, and a hammock for use. We have seen the RV spaces and huts that are for rent though we have not stayed overnight yet. Overall, I had a good time. My only personal struggle was the prevalence of many people drinking to excess. As an addict in recovery, it was a bit uncomfortable from time-to-time, but I managed to keep my focus. I keep a permanent "B" face going, so no one really bothered me that much. read more

In all honesty, I can't give this park any stars. We were members here for 10+ years, back when it was a FAMILY park. We had children most weekends and hosted AANR youth camp. We had members ages from 20s to 80s. It was a big happy family. We had regular covered dish dinners, Wii bowling tournaments, pool tournaments, corn hole and petonque tournaments. The membership has changed. The current owners have made "legacy" members feel uncomfortable and unwelcome so that most of us have left the club. It is difficult to suggest this as a good place to visit. This is a clothing optional club but unlike other clothing optional clubs where the pools and hot tubs are nude only, this club allows swim attire in the pools and hot tubs. read more

Wife and I spent the weekend and had a good time, ever one was so nice, love to come back sometime.

My wife and I love to travel and Adult Only-Clothing Optional places are our favorite type of spots. We had some friends recommend Cedar Creek to us and we gave it a try a couple of months ago, have been back 3 times since, brought friends from Charleston and we've all bought a year's membership. The people we have met here have been incredibly inviting and friendly. The pool during the day is the spot to be with volleyball, corn-hole, music and an awesome community vibe. There is a large covered area to get out of the sun if you wish. Even though it's "clothing optional" you will rarely see anyone wearing bathing suits. Everyone is respectful and non-judgmental. You'll want to spend an hour floating down the lazy river on a hot afternoon as well. Friday and Saturday nights are spent with Karaoke, Fun Theme Nights and lots of sexy dancing in their little disco. The owners, Mark and Molly, are gracious and attentive hosts whom we've become friends with as well. They are constantly upgrading and improving on the facility. If you don't own a camper, you can rent one there or a large or small cabin for a reasonable price. Bathrooms are clean and the showers are a highlight of the stay (au natural and out in the open). Cedar Creek has become our new South Carolina "happy place" and we are proud to call ourselves "Creekers!" read more

This was my first experience with social nudity and I honestly cannot say that it couldn't be any better. Everyone here was very friendly and the facilities were well maintained. I loved being able to spend the entire day at the pool or floating on the creek. The food here isn't bad either, and is well worth the five dollars per plate. I was here for the Glow Party, and it was pretty dang awesome. The DJ was great, and the pressure to dance was low. Everything about this place makes you want to come back and never leave. read more
