I ended up getting my husband an anniversary gift there which consisted of a unique Patagonia jacket and some gloves that will allow him to wear while operating his i-phone. Even though my budget only allowed for this, I spent a lot of time in this cozy store and was inspired to do some more adventurous things and get geared up there. There is a shoe, kids, gear, mens & women's section with lots of variety in style. If you don't see the size you need, the store will order it in! The location is awesome on Cherry Street. There are a couple other active wear stores on each side of Ascent so all of your active wear needs can be met on one block of shopping! They found one (after suggesting I may be wrong about my size) and it fit, somewhat. A bit looser than I like in the band but figured I could make it work. Called a few days later as my girls couldn't seem to stay in the cups. Asked what we could do to keep from the ole uni-boob from happening. The woman suggested maybe the bra didn't fit right to which I replied, "you fitted me for it." And then she suggested maybe I shouldn't move around as much. Wait, WHAT?!!? I am one of those ridiculous bargain shoppers who gets a thrill looking for the good deal. In this store there are definitely some amazing deals to be had for clothing, but there is a lot of work to get to it. This is where retail outlets send the absolute last things remaining, so you have to appreciate much of what ends up here has minor damage, or not so minor damage, or may have been miss-sized or made incorrectly or something to account for the fact it was sold for pennies on the dollar. But mixed in with all this damaged stuff are the jewels that you'll have to have a lot of time and patience to find. I recommend getting on their mailing list, as they will tell you when they have large events, and you get additional discounts on occasion. I have attended these events when they got a giant shipment of swimwear and have picked up swimwear in hard to find sizes for $3-4 a piece. I've gotten formal dresses for $10-15, nice brand shoes for $10-$20, name brand workout ware for $3-8, etc etc. My last trip through I got 2 French Connection brand sweaters that retail for $120 for $15 each. So if you are a person who finds thrill in the hunt, and has the time to hunt, come check this out and get on the mailing list. If you have no idea what Torrid is, they used to be a plus size version of Hot Topic. Very goth and punk rock with lots of band tees. Within the last 8 or so years they've changed their image a bit and now offer trendy pieces and career wear for the younger crowd. They are also supposedly famous for their jeans but I haven't gotten a chance to try them yet. This location is a good size, and even though they were hit hard first thing this morning the store was still tidy when I went in around 11:30. The workers were super nice and helpful, and the girl working the dressing room was really good about checking on customers (seeing if they needed another size, etc without being pushy) when the line got long. Speaking of the dressing rooms, they each had their own fan! This is so important when you're trying on lots of clothes b/c it can get warm back there. This store seemed to have most of the items on the website but in limited sizes. They do offer free shipping from the website to the store if they don't have your size in something. There didn't seem to be a shoe section like the OKC store, they were just scattered around the store on different shelves. Large lingerie section in the back. They have a few purses scattered around, and a few racks of hosiery, but the selection was small unless you were buying leggings. I bet this will be switched out for springtime and replaced with more socks. Cute store and stocked all around. So happy they are here, I will definitely be back!

I have not always had a receipt or price tags especially at Christmas, but they give me a gift card with the amount to make exchanges. They would not let my daughter-in-law exchange her gifts from me. They don't put it in their return policy that you have to have a receipt to exchange. Store manager at Tulsa OK location would not allow her to exchange. Put it in your return policy TJMaxx. She's stuck with $100 merchandise she cannot use! I'll shop where I can in good faith, and policies are clearly stated.
