There was a lack of staff and a request for a nurse went unanswered. When you are seeking pain medication and no one responds to the Bell it is pretty serious. The second experience had to do with a back injection of cortisone for stenosis of the spine. Following the injection I was unable to stand or control my urine. I was left with paralysis in my legs and my bladder and Dr Donatello did not respond to phone messages after I returned home. The leg surgery was performed by Dr Berg and he was excellent both in terms of his care and in terms of the results of the surgery.

I want to say that this time around the experience wasn't so good,the surgery started an hour and a…read morehalf late,that was a trigger of what was to come,after I came into my room after my knee replacement, It wasn't to long before I started feeling the pain that often arrives when one has this done,I was given shots of lidocaine,bubivocain and I think that was it, not long and my pain was hovering at 6,7 5 back and forth all nite long! I needed a bit more pain med.and when I requested it I had to literally beg,I was in a world of hurt for the whole night! I will not put this on the doctor because I explained to him prior to surgery about my past use and abuse with these meds. Now prior to this surgery I had been here 7 months earlier for a shoulder replacement so I had quite a bit of pain meds. In me prior to this,I am a opioid tolerant paitent and going in to this I already was very concerned as to how this was going to go,I and many who unfortunately misused narcotics in the past are difficult to treat for this type of pain,pre-op and post-op, there's way to much to type here so I have to cut to the chase,when a nurse comes in your room and asks where your pain level is and you tell her it's over a 4,around a 6,7 then doesn't that speak volumes that maybe we need to address this instead of lectures, or perhaps if this keeps up maybe call the Doctor? I Had my other knee done,shoulder,hemorrhoid,meniscus tear surgery and most of the time most nurses did and should of handled things better,until that nurse or Doctor actually goes through what I did than They can truly relate, until than they have no clue,shame on you nurses,doctors who classify most people getting by on a pain medication thats for opioid naive patients, we require a special understanding, paitence,trust and transparency unlike those,real pain requires real pain relief approaches,I understand how this world today caused so much chaos and headaches for the dear doctors and nurses,what many of us did,whether years ago or not should not make Healthcare professionals walk on eggshells,or just turn a deaf ear to our pain,you wouldn't like it! Lay there All Night at a 6,7 and tell me your not going to want to leave a negative review! Call the doctor like Evelyn did,she's a Godsend! Dr.Berg,not on you,all who helped in a nice way,Blessings to you! Those who didn't, sandy,Annette or whatever your name is a the counter who has it made,you know who you are,you need to be reprimanded! You dropped the ball! You made my stay longer! This is a wake up call for all to be on the same page next time! ​

Today was my turn at the Covid-19 vaccination clinic. These folks are ready for this with an entire…read moreclinic area set up with signs, seating, check-in window and they're ready for action. Check-in was fast and efficient, including a temperature check. Chairs are socially distanced and an associate was disinfecting chairs. I arrived 15 minutes early, it is all but required when you make an appointment. It was a good thing I was early because they were ahead of schedule (I told you they were efficient!) and I was ushered right in. A guide walked me back, which was good, otherwise they'd have to put cheese at the end of the maze. With the efficiency of a NASCAR pit crew, two nurses and a manager who happened to come into my room double-checked my ID, gave me the injection, and set up the appointment for my revisit for the second injection. I was quickly ushered out so the room was available for the next patient. So far, no side effects, and I'll be back for Round Two in three weeks.

This clinic has wonderful staff, caring, hard hard-working doctors and nurses, but the lab staff is…read morerude and unprofessional. She was very rude and abrasive and yelled at me in front of another patient for coming into the lab without an appointment. I actually had stopped in to drop off my lab order and there were only 2 cars in the entire clinic parking lot, so I asked if I could get in. The front office staff said no problem and sent me back to the lab. The phlebotomist actually yelled at me three times about not having an appointment for the lab work and told me never to return again unless I had an appointment. In addition, I highly allergic to all adhesives and the phlebotomist confirmed this. She put a bandaid on my arm so quickly that I did not see her do it and caused a significant allergic response. She tied the stretchy coban dressing on my arm so tightly that it ripped off the skin in 3 areas. I do not have fragile skin and this has never happened to me before. After telling my health care provider what happened, she urged me to call Froedert and file a complaint. I contacted the lab supervisor and left her a messege but she never responded to my call and it has been 4 weeks.

The grounds were great for walking and reflection. The staff here was phenomenal--so kind, attentive, and compassionate. The individual rooms were really nice, large (easily accommodated multiple family and friends), and had comfortable furniture. The staff offered us pillows and blankets. They even had mini fridges and an outdoor patio with each room. The weather was nice when we were here so we often utilized every aspect of it. There are many spaces to use here aside from your loved one's room. They have a sun room, a grief/meditation quiet room, a living room, a dining room, patios, porches, and several garden spaces. Get this--the staff even provides brewed coffee, creamer, and sugar as well as fresh baked cookies. It was definitely a life-altering experience to have to watch someone deteriorate over the course of several days. The staff really helped create a sense of understanding and support throughout. It took me a few months to write this review or get back into everyday things like "yelping" after this, but here I am. I wanted to share what a wonderful home-like environment this was and what a unique facility. One powerful thing to note is that the have these faceless angels everywhere from the Willow Tree brand/series. You can pick them up and each individual angel has the name of a lost loved one and/or an inscription... so powerful. I guess, in summary, if hospice is what you're considering, I would hands-down recommend this place. My nana came out here from Brookfield.

Our entire family is beyond grateful to the angels for everything they did for my husband and our family. End of life is never easy no matter how you try to prepare for it. Kathy Hospice has the best loving angels who truly care. The hospice is peaceful and has a homelike atmosphere. Numerous wildlife outside can be seen from the windows. It is very serene. You and your loved ones are treated like family. I can never thank Kathy Hospice and their Angels enough for everything and words cannot express fully what an amazing place this is.

The other lady jumped in and said I can help you. She was great. Even when I left I tried to talk to Jenny and again in a "snippy" voice said, "good day sir" and wouldn't even look at me and kept doing what she was doing. The doctors are great but Jenny needs to learn who the customers are and how to treat them. She should not be dealing with the customers..

Okay things happen, so I reschedule, and can't get in for another month out. A week before my July appointment rolls around all of sudden she's on vacation and won't be there? now it's my August appointment which I know for fact was scheduled over the phone for 9 am because of the way my work schedule/ clients work yet all emails say 10. I called two days before (didn't realize the emails said 10 when I knew it was 9) left an message and got no call back, called again the next day and was told they'd see if the 9 am could switch, got no call back. Also was told every time I was "at the top of the waitlist" yet never once got a call about anyone cancelling or rescheduling between may and august. You're in the business of women's health, I'm trying to get in for specific concerns that idk, could affect fertility potentially? and who knows what else so I just don't get how it's taken so lightly and how you can be trusted as a doctor when scheduling is this difficult.
