A ton of work for NOTHING. It took months to book my appointment because they would not answer the phone and then would call back every morning during my work commute and need all my insurance information while I was driving. This went on forever. Once I got there they did a consult, asked me to do a bunch of dental work no one has ever recommended and then wouldn't clean until a booked another appointment or I could wait 3+ hours. Overall a bad experience and then I went back 1 more time because all of this was so much work and the lady got me soaking wet, halfway drown me and then gave up halfway through my cleaning and shoved me out the door. Then they sent me a bill for $10... Cannot NOT recommend more. read more

I am a new patient and my dental insurance stinks so I am limited as to which dentist I can see. This dental office is run like an almost out of business McDonalds. When you schedule a new patient visit, they do not tell you that you need a SEPARATE appointment for the cleaning. This is nuts. At my first appointment, I waited 40 minutes for a dentist to look briefly at my teeth. The hygienists and dentists look miserable, like they hate being there. Their goal seems to be to do the most x-rays possible to get the bill higher. If you have the option with your insurance, do yourself a favor and go somewhere better read more

Their office staff is absolutely the rudest staff I have ever dealt with. I will go back one more time and if I am treated the same way I was treated today I will find another doctor. In the past I have always had my bill submitted to insurance then I pay the balance PROMPTLY! When I told them that today their response was "you don't go to Publix without money so you have to pay." In tip if that, my husband and I had the same treatment and his bill was $40 over mine and they could offer no reasonable explanation as to why. They are definitely not patient friendly. I had been a patient at Celebration Dental Group for over twenty years and can only speak highly of the Dentists and Hygienists. Unfortunately, I have decided to cut ties with Celebration Dental Group due to the poor management of the office. It is impossible to get through to speak to anyone. They repeatedly send bills to you due to their failure to bill insurance. They have no option for billing in their phone tree, and it takes weeks of voicemails to finally get a response on anything. Once you finally are able to speak to someone to book an appointment, the earliest they can get you in is six weeks away. When your appointment finally arrives, you can't get through to anyone to confirm. And more than once they have lost any record of the appointment and you have to book again. When telling them that this is unacceptable, they tell you to talk to a manager and then hang up on you. When you arrive in person, the office manager refuses to speak to anyone in-person and you have to call, but then again it is impossible to get through to talk to anyone. They would be great if they could just handle the administrative part of a dental office and treat their patients with respect. It seems that they have too many patients and you are just another body to them than a person. read more

Sent my mother in law to the Front St. office for a cracked tooth. The website was difficult to book, it froze before confirming, then later got confirmation through email. The dental work was adequate, but the office staff is terrible. When my mother in law arrived she was basically ignored for several minutes, when she presented her insurance card the girl said thank you, nothing more. Mom was charged $150 for her visit. When I called about the billing, I was told by Erica that Mom never presented her info. When I informed her they had given it to the receptionist, Erica first implied that Mom was lying. Then she changed to, we don't take that insurance. Then she said, well we only charged her $150 when it would have been $300. No apology, no offer to rectify the issue, just nothing they could do. I told her I will solve it by NEVER going back to them again. As long as they keep the staff they have, you will get rude, slow service, in my opinion! read more

Ms. Gago was exceptionally rude and discourteous from the first moment that I arrived. Ms. Gago had a very unprofessional tone and ordered me around as if I were her five year old child. I was so disgusted by her abhorrent behavior. After suffering from her disrespectful and unprofessional behavior, I requested to be serviced by another employee. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated. I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. On another note, I would like to commend Neddy, she is very professional and helpful. My family and me are new to the area and intended to do business with your company, but after my experience, we will no longer be seeking the services of your practice. You have lost many thousands of dollars in future business from my family due to an unprofessional employee and a lack of empathy from your dentists. I enjoyed my first visit and usually dread going to the dentist office, but it was great experience all the way through. Dr Watson was great in informing and educating me, on what's going on with my teeth and what is needed to correct them. Highly recommend them and will be using them again for sure. Run don't walk away from this practice. They are a revolving door for dentists and botched a root canal on my husband. He could have died. He got an infection twice and they couldn't care less. Now, he has to have the crown drilled out, cleaned out and resealed by a competent dentist NOT affiliated with this group. Let me start off by saying my review is for the resciption staff. Dr. White and the nurse who I dealt with for my visit were great! The front end staff though is HORRID! They all look miserable, they do not have a clue what end is up. The second we walked in they informed my fiance that her dental insurance stated to the them that they only cover accidental. WHERE WAS THE PHONE CALL! My fiance was able to contact her insurance company and get it straighted out she is covered and it was an error on celebration dental. We had scheduled check ups and cleanings after I get seen by the doctor I am led out to a small waiting room only to find out from another member of the "I visablbly hate my job union" that there is no possible way we could of scheduled cleanings and check ups on the same day, funny not what we were told when we called and when we checked in at the front desk! I will try this place again because I did enjoy Dr. White and the nursing staff but please be warned when making appointments or dealing with reception. read more

I was looking for a new dentist in the area. I went during my lunch break and the parking lots was crazy. Took me a very long time to park which is always not fun when you have to get back to work. I went up to the office to set up my information and to make a new appointment for another day. The reception would not allow me to make one with them and instead I had to call a call center even tho I was standing right there. It was strange, so I went to Dental Care of Davenport and it was 1000% better. One on one service there and took my appointment that day for later in the week and helped set me up as a new client. Waiting room there was great too. I would recommend them over this one. Just didn't sit well with me from the jump sadly. Oh well. They need to update their space and their service. read more

I recently had an 8am appointment with Dr White at Celebration Dental Group to put on my temporary crown following a root canal. I arrived by 7:45am and was in the dentist chair before 8am. Dr White and his assistant did a great job during the procedure, ensuring I was as comfortable as possible and they kept me informed of what was going on every stop of the way. Due to an upcoming vacation, they also ensured that a rush order was done on my permanent crown so that it can be in place before I leave. I went years without going to a dentist because I couldn't find one I trusted. Once I landed on Dr. Watson, I've kept up regular visits (as regular as they allow, anyway) and have had no issues. No issues, that is, aside from getting regular appointments. Much as they recommend visiting every six months, and insurance allows for two visits per calendar year, the reality is that I almost always get appointments every seven months or so because they are so booked. I keep telling myself that next time, I'm going to call and get my six-month appointment a month before my next visit... It's worth clarifying with them which office you're going to. They used to have offices at the hospital, then they added the Front St location, and now they also have a location behind Starbucks on 192. They do like to keep you with the same hygienist every visit, which has caused me scheduling problems. For a while I was assigned to hygienist who only worked a few days a week, and it took me a while to realize that's why I couldn't get convenient appointment times. I'd rather get times that work for me than keep the same hygienist. read more

As I have lived and worked all over the US, finding a new dentist is always a challenge. This office and team listens and has exceptional customer service. I've been using this dentist (Dr. Watson) for over 5 years. As they are highly recommended from locals, they are very busy-but they've expanded and really worked hard on their appointment calendar issues. As a local small business owner I can appreciate the time and effort these Dr's and staff are contributing to constantly looking to improve their service. As a root-canal and periodontal patient, their assessment of my dental condition was right on and matched my previous dentists in Tx & Pa. I don't know what's going on with their phone system but I've been calling for almost 1 hour to reschedule my son appt. It has been ringing of the hook until it hang itself up! I've tried all extension.. new patient/emergency, Front street office, Mallory office, specialist/hygienist.. NO ONE is picking up the phone! I better not be charged for no-show fee. Please fix the phones or have someone answer the damn calls! BTW.. it's not just this one time.. It's almost every time I try to call them. I went to Celebration Dental Group for several years but found them to be overall very unprofessional and not client-centric. While I have not had issues with the actual dental care, I have also not had any real dental needs in the time I was under their care. Ultimately, their lack of concern for their clients is the prompt for me to find a new practice. My first frustration was with the professionalism of Doctor Figueroa and the hygenists. The first time I went to this practice, the doctor noticed that I had a gold filling on a back molar (only visible to someone actively staring into my mouth) and asked why. I explained that it was put there when I was in my teens and my mother had chosen gold because she has strong views about using only natural products. Dr. Figueroa proceeded to laugh at me and actually tell me that my mother is stupid. She continued laughing about how stupid my mother is with the hygenist throughout the appointment. That is my second complaint about the lack of professionalism. At each appointment (yes, I went back! I'm clearly too forgiving...), the doctor and hygenist kept up a constant stream of personal chatter over my face while they worked in my mouth (chatting about dates, movies, weekend plans, etc.), as if there wasn't another person in the room. The final straw, though, was how I was treated by the front office staff. For one appointment, I arrived about 8 minutes late, due to the fact that their parking lot was newly under construction and I was extensively re-routed. When I got to the office, there was noone at the check-in desk, so I signed in with the honest time I had arrived. About 20 minutes later, I was called back and given a hygenist check-up and cleaning and then shuttled to the check-out desk. I waited at the check-out desk for over 1/2 an hour and was very understanding when the check-out attendant brisquely appologized for the long wait. When I attempted to make my next appointment, though, she said that I needed to make 2 appointments instead of 1 because I had originally been scheduled to also see the doctor and it was a regulation that I had to have that appointment sooner. They didn't have me see the doctor because I was late. Fine, but NO ONE told me this at the beginning of the appointment! And, it was 8 minutes late.... When I expressed my frustration that this had not been communicated to me when I checked in or before I was brought back (they just cancelled 1/2 my appointment without telling me), her response was "the doctor's time is valuable." Wow! This is after you kept me waiting over 30 minutes to check-out......Clearly the patient is not valuable to this practice and that cumulative realization is what has prompted me to find a new dentist. read more

I was looking for a good dentist for a long time. Since I started seeing Dr. Russo, I haven't wanted to leave. He always spends time talking with me in great detail about any questions I may have. I was just there this week for a cleaning and didn't have any problems and wasn't at the new office that everyone was talking about. I was still at the old Front St. Location. The only problem I've ever had was the first deep cleaning it had really irritated one of my teeth. I had to be put on antibiotics and almost had to have a root canal. But once that healed, everything has been fine since. read more

Do not waste your time or money at this dentist. The dentist told me that I have a problem with teeth grinding in my sleep and tried to sell me a night mouth guard that would have cost hundreds. I believed him until I heard him telling two other patients exactly the same thing and noticed the many mouth guard advertisements on every wall. I have never had a problem with my teeth wearing or my jaw being sore in the morning, which are the common signs of night teeth grinding. Clearly he is in the business of padding patients bills with mouth guard sales. The hygienist didn't say a single word to me and conversed in Spanish to another hygienist who was loitering nearby while she cleaned my teeth. Every staff member I came in contact with had a very unprofessional appearance and attitude. I will not be going back and I will not be buying a mouth guard for a condition I do not have. read more

Let me state I have never been to this dentist. My review is for new patients. I made an appointment a few weeks ago for a cleaning. I tried to call a few times to double check my appointment. I left a few messages never got called back. I finally got through and after looking for about 10 minutes she finally found my appointment. She said my appointment was "to meet the dentist" I stated I was suppose to have a cleaning. She told me they never do anything but meeting the dentist the first time for new patients. What?!?! I'm not paying an office visit to meet him! I felt like they are trying to get more money out of their customers. After speaking with a coworker who went here, the dr I was suppose to see, dr Watson, they tried to convince her she needed a root canal. After speaking with a specialist she learned it was not needed. This practice seems to try and take as much money as they can from their clients. I cancelled my appointment and will be looking for a replacement. read more

I had saw Dr Orlando for 4 years or so, I love the hygenist, i looked forward to seeing her for cleanings. Dr Orlando was fine, my opinion changed when I had to make an appointment for a toothache. He checked out my teeth, did X-rays and said that he could not find anything wrong. The pain continued, I went to my medical dr for the pain and assured him That my dentist didn't find anything wrong. The pain continued and I finally got some RX pain killers for the pain from my dr. The pain went away! I went in for my normal cleaning a few weeks later and my hygenist was flipping thru my chart and started asking me about my last visit... She looked at the X-rays and showed me--- as plain as day, there was a big cloud around the roots of the tooth, an infection. The pain had stopped because the tooth had died. I got a root canal that day. Not only had I been in pain for a a few weeks but it costed me over $700.00! So I switched dentist, they gave me Dr White, he seemed fast and efficient, until I had to have a tiny cavity filled.... He dripped novicane on my chin, turned out to be a blessing, My chin was numb when the drill got tangled in the cotton in my mouth, causing me to jerk my head and the drill slipped across my lips. Numb lips! Surprising that no blood was shed, just akward to have the dentist trying to rub all of the shredded cotton off my shoulder. So I'm looking for a new dentist, a more tranditional office without huge glass windows for people walking by to look at me sitting in the dentist chair. read more

Taken back over 45 minutes late for appointment. I was also supposed to see dentist and have a cleaning. Dentist was on vacation. They did not tell me until I got there. So I only had the cleaning. They also (due to a new administration) took away the free toothbrushes they use to give away. They even took away the treasure box for children. Instead of thinking only about money think about people. Children already are scared of dentists and then you take away something they look forward too. If I were you and your insurance covers other dentist I would try another over this one ina heartbeat. read more

First of all, I'd like to thank Lori, Jackie and Dr. White and his staff for their gentleness and professionalism. They seem to like their job. I like going to this office because it's convenient for me and my family. One frustration I have is it seems hard to get anybody on the phone if I need to reschedule or something nor do they return my call. Another is the company needs to train some of the RECEPTIONISTS to smile and show they're happy with their job. They are supposed to welcome you as soon as you come in. Or just pretend to be happy and don't act miserable! Oh and there's one lady who substitutes Jackie when she's out.. She is so rude and unprofessional. She doesn't seem to like her job either.
