CELEBRATION OC IS HOME!!! My family and I made Celebration our home church 3 years ago. We were church hopping trying to find a church near us in Ontario/ Eastvale & little did we know God had a church waiting for us in Brea. The minute we walked into Celebration we were greeted by so many beautiful people, our kids felt so comfortable they took off to the kids ministry, and we immediately got connected right away into a small group. Celebration was a perfect match for us! The next week we walked in and everyone already knew our names. We knew from then on we weren't going to leave. Since then Celebration has made such an impact on my family & I. We have so many beautiful people in our lives that we can count on, that have been there for us no matter what. I was brought to this church by some friends last year and my life has been completely changed for the better ever since. The first Sunday service I experienced there I felt like I was finally home. God and His Spirit is forsure moving in this place.. through the anointed worship, preachings by Pastor Dan and the fellowship I have found at Celebration OC. If you're looking for a church where you feel welcomed and a part of the family, this is no doubt the church for you! I felt comfortable from the jump and it's really, really hard to NOT make friends there. I joined one of their discipleship classes a couple weeks into it and my life was completely transformed. Love how Bible based this church is. The sermons are not "watered down" like I was having a hard time getting away from at other Christian churches in SoCal. Christian church with a beautiful community. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It's also very diverse. They have a great kids ministry for all ages (Sunday school for infants to middle schoolers). Very inviting and casual environment. They also have groups for youth and young adults. Highly recommend. Earlier this year, my husband and I were looking for a new home church where we could connect with people, and grow stronger in our personal relationships with God. We came across Celebration OC through Yelp, and decided to try it out. Let me tell you being raised in church all my life, I've never felt so loved and accepted so quickly by everyone I met. On my first visit I was so overwhelmed, but in a GOOD way by all the smiles, love, and sincerity coming from its members. The worship has always been my favorite part growing up, and it's on fire here. Pastor Dan always teaches relatable messages that you can apply to your life daily. He uses visuals and can be pretty funny as well lol they also have a great children's ministry, and do family events throughout the year. We found Celebration on Easter weekend. We heard about a family event at Brea Jr High and took our kids. We had an awesome time and discovered the event was organized by this church. We decided to check it out the following weekend, as we wanted a great place for our kids with a culture we could relate to. We bounced around a few churches over the previous couple of years, but never felt like we belonged or connected. Four months later, we couldn't be happier. Our kids love going. The music is fantastic. We're able to have a voice and make a difference by leading a life of significance. We've made so many friends and all of them show genuine care and concern. This Church welcomed me from the parking lot to the front door and when I walked into the sanctuary I was met with a handshake and a hug. Made me feel comfortable and most importantly welcomed in a church. As we walked in we heard the worship music, which was GREAT. I love worship music and this church made it feel like I was listening to professional musicians. They did a welcoming/greeting during service where I was greeted by friendly faces and felt like they truly cared for me and my family. I have kids and the children's ministry was awesome. My 4 year old daughter sings me the songs she's learned and gets excited to show me what she made in class. The Pastor was funny and relatable. My family and I found this church as we were transitioning out of another church. We decided to visit to check it out and were VERY nervous. Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly man with a Mickey Mouse hand and a warm smile. This immediately eased our minds as we saw that church could be fun. Our kids were nervous as well as they had belonged to one church all of their lives but the volunteers at the kids ministry were so kind they made them feel so comfortable! As a parent this is important to me. Next came worship which was AMAZING!! Not just good voices but such anointing!! Lastly, but not least, the word that came from the pastor was tailor made for my husband and I. That word was a gift and confirmation straight from GOD! We looked at each other and without saying a word we knew we'd found our Home church. Fast forward 3 years later we are now hoping to do the same for you. Amazing church.. very family oriented. My kids love this church and the kids ministry.

First time visitor to the church. Since it wasn't on yelp, we actually found it by driving by one week. We are new to the area and have been visiting all the churches to find a new church home. Observations: Very friendly group, had several people introduce themselves and start up conversations (we've been to many churches where not a sole acknowledges you, so this was good). It is a predominately hispanic group, though most conversations heard around and the sermon were in english. Not sure what denomination it was, but got the feeling of pentecostal or Assembly of God. It was very bible based, the sermon wasn't deep, but helpful and full of energy and bible references. This church is LOUD. Both in style and physically. The worship portion lasted long - 45 minutes. And I'm not exaggerating when I say I had minor hearing loss for a few hours afterwards. They need to get those drums in a better enclosure to block some of the sound for that size room. It is a lively celebrating church (hence the name), and it's a party atmosphere inside, hands raised, jumping, dancing, clapping. And there is a lot of emphasis on the Spirit, and also, quite a lot of talk about the "enemy". There was alter time at the end where people went to the front and laid hands on each other. Overall, it was a good experience, definitely NOT one of those churches you'd ever be able to fall asleep in. It seemed bible based (as much as I could tell from just 1 visit), with a very charismatic pastor, and was very friendly. I'd say definitely check it out, but be prepared for the loudness factor. read more
