Oh just wait, it gets better. Not only did she completely ignore our request she never cancelled our policy. Don't worry Kathy!!!! I did your job for you and cancelled my own policy! Stay clear everyone!! Worst customer service ever!! She only cares about her commission.

I called on a Thursday morning, asking to buy insurance for the $ 7 figure house I was about to buy. Charlie, the person who took my call, took my basic details and asked me about my cars and if I'd like them covered too. I said 'sure'. He told me he'd connect with 1 other colleague and he'd call right back. I told him I was buying my house really soon. By the next day I heard nothing. So around 4pm of that Friday, I called and found Charlie. He told me that they'd be having a software issue. I asked him if he could have called me to tell me this. No answer. He promised me that he'd be back in touch asap. Monday came. Guess how many calls I got from Mr. Blanchard's company? That's right. None. A pattern starting to emerge here? "Be patient", I told myself. Tuesday rolled along and I wanted until the afternoon because, after all, by now, I'd still been deafened by the ZERO calls I had received. So I called back. Charley was in a meeting. Mr. Blanchard wasn't in the office but the nice lady answering the call offered to assist. I told her my whole story and I was polite, patient and courteous. She was quite surprised by my story and assured me that they'd call right back. Never heard back that day. Of course, I might hear from them soon. But it might be too late by then as I can't imagine feeling as though I can trust this company. I was always taught in business that trust has to be built between a company and its customers. This clearly has not been my experience here. Perhaps my bad experience with Mr. Blanchard's "operation" is unique. Then again, judging by the fact that 75% of the reviews (including mine) are truly awful, perhaps not.

I have had a policy with this company for several years and when I moved to my new house in August…read more(2 months into my current policy) I was quoted a significant increase from $227 to $334/month ($2000/6 months), but understood due to location. The next 3 billing cycles I was charged $405/month and when I called to inquire I was told that for the 4 month remainder of the current policy the premium was actually $2165 and I would get the quoted amount starting when the policy renewed. First of all, that math doesn't work. Second, I was not told about the additional increase, and what I paid was effectively the same as if I had paid the whole 6 month policy for that location. I would have liked more transparency but insurance companies can basically do whatever they want anymore.
