They did dress up and we got to watch a little fashion show of all the kids! They all thought it was so much fun. We brought in our own cupcakes and the hostesses handled everything for us, even taking the cupcakes and setting them out and making sure our birthday girl got her favorite flavor! We decided to skip presents so the hostesses led a dance party to all her favorite songs (she loves kpop demon hunters right now!) Most of the parents hung back but it was great to know that they could drop their kids off if they wanted to. We brought in some snacks for the adults (charcuterie and mimosas!) and I got to hang with my fellow moms while the kids had their fun. The best part is I didn't have to do anything! I checked out their website and chose a character that I knew my granddaughter would love! The owner, Jacqueline, responded quickly and was so helpful and professional. She sent over the contract and PayPal invoice so I could pay the deposit and submit the necessary paperwork to secure our request. Unfortunately, due to the archaic operating system on my computer, I was unable to submit payment through PayPal. I called them and they told me, no problem, they would come to me to collect the contract and deposit!!! I can't explain what a big help this was, as I was planning a soon to be 4 year olds birthday party in just a few weeks and had so much on my mind already!! Jump to the day of the party, we received a morning confirmation text of our chosen characters arrival. He arrived on time and greeted the kids. Some loved him, some were scared, but he handled it all with ease. He made sure to include everyone, played games and danced, took picture after picture and had energy left over! My granddaughter literally talked about her party until she went to bed that night. It was a truly unforgettable day and we are grateful that Royal Princess Parties of Colorado was a part of it!!! This was our second year using Royally Enchanted, so we have had four different characters come out…read morefor parties as of this review. They make the party. We like to host at the park by our house which is way up in Evergreen, and they only charge a small fee for that extra driving. I really appreciate their willingness to work with us even though we aren't in there included area. The characters are out of this world--they really love what they do. They don't just show up and walk around, they play games. We had two princesses come one year and they taught the kids how to be princesses for an hour. This year we had Spiderman along with a princess and they played hide and seek and red light green light, then had the kids make magical wishes. Seeing all the kids absolutely lose their minds running to the characters is hilarious. I also want to point out that they have never cancelled on a party. As someone who depends on them for a core part of the entertainment, this is critical. I absolutely love this group. The only thing I will say, is you have to watch your junk folder. This isn't their fault though so it doesn't impact the review at all, and when I called back in, they were able to guide me to the email that had further details on our party.
