Our "Polynesian Princess" was the hit of the party. The booking process was super easy. The actress contacted me via email the week before the party to get the details. She shows up on time. Perfectly costumed. Sang songs, told stories, kept the kids enraptured for a full 30 minutes. Lovely woman. Clearly a professional. We attended an Aladdin themed birthday party with 2 characters from Wands & Wishes (Jasmine & Aladdin). Both actors had an amazing ability to entertain and keep a group of toddlers attention for the full hour! Not to mention they were very talented. I was sold! My daughter loved Jasmine so I decided to try to book a character for her party. Her party was only 2 weeks away so I was doubtful they would have availability. Also, she was truing 3 and not into princesses or Disney yet. Her party was a Fall woodland animal theme so I was also unsure if they had a character that would fit the theme. I was so excited when Wands & Wishes answered my online request in less than a day and advised they had an Autumn Fairy available for her party! I couldn't believe how easy and efficient the booking was and affordability of their packages. We went with the 45 min package which proved to be just right for a group of 3 and 4 years old. The Autumn Fairy was amazing from her costume to beautiful singing and ukulele playing. My daughter giggled with joy during the the fairy dancing portion! She kept the kids interested and excited during the entire 45 min. The pictures and memories are priceless. I highly recommend this company. We had a wonderful experience with Wands and Wishes today. The price for 1 performer for 75 minutes (after the extra travel fee) was just about what we paid for a bounce house at a previous party and it was a much more relaxing of an experience for the adults. We did tip on top of that price (which is customary), so because of that this did go over the price of a bounce house, but it was a well deserved tip. Don't stiff your performers. Our performer, Rowan, was right on time. This is especially impressive because it was snowing on the day of our party and the road to our house was a little slick. He was fabulous with the kiddos and held their attention. Rowan was witty and quick with explanations when the children asked questions. And he never broke character. The kids were mesmerized. The performers are not babysitters (you are expected to keep the kids in line) but Rowan did a really good job of occupying the kids. We were able to sit back, relax and chat with the other parents, while keeping an eye on the kids. We did not enjoy this luxury with a bounce house. We live a little ways out so it's always nice to find companies that service our location. There was an extra travel fee due to the distance but I didn't find it to be unreasonable. I also enjoyed the ability to customize our package. I do wish the communication had been a little better, but everything shook out just fine. I don't think that is normal for the company and it obviously did not affect my rating. I would hands down still use this company again. I also wish there were more super hero characters! I would totally hire a princess if my kids were into that but they aren't. This was by far the easiest birthday party we've ever thrown for our kids. The other moms in attendance were so impressed that they wanted to know about the company as well as the name of the exact performer. I am positive that this will leave lasting memories with our kids. 1 little tip, I would suggest planning the start of your party with enough time for the guests to eat before the performer arrives if the performer is staying to sing Happy Birthday. The confirmation email from our performed inadvertently got sent to spam and when I followed up asking about where it was, I received a call from Wands & Wishes within an hour and a follow up email from the performer soon thereafter. The office staff was awesome. Our Jedi Knight, Michael, was amazing. We had 40 (!!) kids ranging in age from 3-10 and he managed to keep them all captivated for a full 60 minutes. He dodged the challenges to use the Force and lift up rocks with ease and remained in character the entire time. Our 7 year old son was absolutely thrilled and when asked about his favorite part of the day, the Jedi is identified every time. Completely unprofessional! I filled out a request two months before my daughter's party. I didn't hear a thing from them. I even called and emailed a couple times. At two weeks from the party I gave up and called another (better) company. They were right on it. They called and confirmed all the details and were great through the whole process. Then the night before the party I got an email from wands and wishes asking for me to pay the balance. The first communication they send out is about payment???? These ladies (Jaimie and Phoebe) are so impressive! They were able to pull about 30 kids away from a Bouncer Castle to go inside and sing songs, tell stories and dance for an hour. Came out to Village at the Peaks in Longmont for halloween event. Multiple times my 3 year old little girl tried to get a picture with the princesses. 1st time they were crowded with people, second time Princesses refused because they were on break. Last time we see them walking in the parking lot as we are walking to our car. My 3 year old is viciously waving at them and i ask them if she can please get a picture with them they said no they have to go and totally ignored her and walked as fast as they could to their car and got in. I stood there just baffled. Messaged the owner and he said that his girls are in high demand and didnt have time to take a picture cause they needed to get to another event. There was no one else around in the parking lot and it would have literally taken less than minute. But instead they decided to crush a 3 year olds spirits. DO NOT use this company. There are plenty of cosplayers out there who would love to do events and put their fans first. read more

I wish there were more stars to give! Sleeping Beauty (Rachel T) came to my daughter's 4th birthday party today, and she was AMAZING. She had 15 preschoolers - girls and boys - mesmerized and completely enthralled with her. She had a truly remarkable well of patience, she was funny, fun, kind, caring, and magical. She made every child feel special and noticed even while giving the birthday girl special preference, and all the grown ups were blown away. She enchanted the entire group of us. (It really did remind me of the movie Enchanted - she was SO in character, I'd have sworn that she fell right out of a storybook and just WAS that good, kind, thoughtful, patient, and loving. Maybe she is! I'd believe it!) When kids would ask her questions, she'd reply in such funny, delightful, wholly in-character ways - where did she get her crown, from her mother and father, do you like it? Someone mentioned they had an Ariel doll and she said, "Oh! I'll tell her. It'll make her feel so special. Maybe she'll get a little doll of you!" (BEST ANSWER EVER.) For the singing, well, with all due apologies to Mary Costa, Rachel does it better. Details-wise, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Booking was a breeze; I talked to two different people at the Denver phone number and both were fabulous. Rachel arrived right on time and had incorporated the details I gave her, using them throughout the party, and she was masterful at managing the flow of the party. I have no idea what face paints she used, but with 3 kids, I've gotten many, many faces painted over the years (at every possible opportunity, because they love it), and none have ever stayed on like this. My daughter's was on all day and I was actually a little nervous it would be hard to wash off because it was still so perfect at 8pm after being applied at 11, but it wiped right off with water and a washcloth. I'm not super sure how that worked, but I'm going to guess fairy magic. Rachel got RAVES from every single adult at the party. It was, hands down, the most magical experience I could have ever asked for. It was so far beyond my expectations I can't even describe it. My daughter can't stop talking about Sleeping Beauty (only sadness comes from the fact that SB is not currently still at our house, and SB didn't come to her room and play with her toys), and all of my kids have been singing to the magical flower. I was in the next room and heard Dale singing trill-like notes like SB's when she sings to the animals and when the magic was placed in this flower. I walked in and she was holding it, singing, showing me there was more magic in it. If I could give a hundred stars it wouldn't be enough. Elsa is a talented actress, singer, artist and story teller. They take the time to learn about the family (have you met Elsa before?) and personalize each event. I have never heard a group of little girls be so quite, they were completely mesmerized by her even they adults were completely captured also. They only recommendation would be to do a bit more elaborate face paint they each only got a little star on their cheek. Jill was our little mermaid and she did a fabulous job. From the moment she entered our home she made my daughter feel so special and had all the kids engrossed. She was great at keeping all 20 kids entertained and has a beautiful singing voice that even all the parents were blow away. She kept in character the whole time and all the kids got their picture taken with her. My daughter told me the next day that she really loved that princess Ariel came to her birthday party. I would highly recommend wands and wishes and Jill for any character. In addition the company did a great job at communicating before the party on what to expect and what all was owed and Jill connected through email with us the week of the party to make sure we were all on the same page of what was going to be done at the party.
