I have brought my laptop to Dara a few times with issues. He is amazing! Gets back to you quick with what needs to be done and has never had to keep it a full 24 hours. Being that I am not particularly tech savvy, I appreciate his honesty and straight forwardness. I think what he charges is extremely reasonable compared to other places that I have checked into, especially the Geek Squad witch wanted me to pay a monthly membership before they would even look at it. Really late on my review. Had some issues with my battery on my 7+. Was in the area visiting family and was able to find this shop. I think it's fairly new because my cousin doesn't remember seeing it here before. The place is nice and clean. The gentleman was very nice and took a look at my phone to make sure it wasn't anything more. They have good prices here because my cousin had hers replaced somewhere else for the same phone and I remember her saying she def paid more. Unfortunately, my second experience with Cellular Depot was very unpleasant. I cracked my iPhone screen and had it replaced in May. Ever since, the screen was replaced, I had issues with the phone (ghost touching, calls not connecting, etc.). I brought the phone in where another screen replacement was done under warranty. Unfortunately, the issues persisted. Upon bringing my phone in a third time, I was told that I needed to pay more money for a higher "Apple quality" screen. I did this and once I received my phone, the issues were much worse than they were before to the point where my phone is unusable. I took my phone to UBreakIFix, where they assured me that the issue is with the digitizer on the screen at that they would replace the screen, but it would be $190. I contacted Cellular Depot, who refused to give me a refund of any sort for the faulty screens I received, and only offered to do a FOURTH screen replacement (no thanks), so now I will be out $400+ to fix my Apple Iphone screen. Safe to say I will not be returning here as trying to save a few dollars has come back to hurt me in the long run. read more

Took my phone here to replace a cracked screen and I'll admit, it was a good deal. A bit too good to be true in hindsight. I could tell the color on the screen was a bit "off" when I got it back and it wasn't nearly as touch-sensitive as the factory screen. Definitely a low-quality ripoff part but I wasn't that shocked. Less than two hours after buying the new screen, the phone fell off my sofa (something that's happened hundreds of times without issue) the whole thing was spider cracked. I called him back about the 60 day warranty he promised and he said the warranty doesn't cover the screen!! Literally all I bought was a screen but he said the warranty is only if the phone broke, not the part he sold me and installed. Huge rip off, their service is as sketchy as the store itself. He is very quick on his response and fast at his job! I didn't ask him to do this, but he made sure that the camera and other button functions work just in case it was damaged from the fall. Broke my phone completely. Will not ever go back here. First of all, when I walked in I was not greeted nor was anybody up front. I rang the bell and I could hear a loud tv in the back so he never came until I was leaving. He walked out completely barefoot & He chased me out & convinced me to come back in. I should've left while I could. He was supposed to just replace my cracked screen and said it would be one hour. Came back in an hour and he said it wouldn't be ready until the next day. So I was without a phone for an entire night. Then I went back and I was informed my phone was fixed but He "broke" my front camera and replaced it "for free". Well he replaced it with a knock off version and got a piece of fuzz over the camera. So I went back AGAIN to get the fuzz removed but the camera quality was still so poor i couldn't take pics with it anymore. Also not to mention the reason it is so cheap is because the screens they replace it with are knockoff and HORRIBLE quality. Then about an hour later my phone screen quit working completely. It never worked again. They have a warranty and you can bring it back whenever , didn't wanna deal with them ever again. Went and had to buy a brand new iPhone. The owner is very con-artist like....oops a real con-artist! I went in to originally just get my charger port fixed/replaced. I called over phone and they quoted me $35-80. I show up the next day to get it fixed just for him to persuade me to get my semi-cracked but still functional screen fixed. I was very firm by making it clear that I just wanted to focus on charger port since its more of a priority for me. He then threw out a "bundled deal" for both the charger port and screen for $260. I said okay to it and had to wait a day or two for it to get fixed---not same day. He tells its ready for pick up(today, may 23) and that he had to replace the screen with a higher quality screen, which has now brought my total to $285 & that he had to replace my battery as well. I did not ask for this battery replacement service nor did I know my battery was an issue prior to inquiring. I DID NOT give him my authorization to replace my battery or to add onto the total of my already increasing total/quote for things beyond my needs. So I arrive to place to pick up and pay for phone and then he hits me with "its $25 for the battery" with it already installed inside my phone and the old one out on the corner forcing me into kind of saying yes to the battery. So now im looking at $310 NOW!!! Then he proceeds to type in random numbers on his apple/iPhone calculator for "SALES TAX" that was NEVER discussed or acknowledged. After he added his "sales tax" to the total i was expected to now pay "$334.80" ......now i have a low quality de-saturated screen and got over-charged for an non-agreed upon price. Wouldn't recommend this shady place at all. Super bogus and theres better more transparent places out there that wont try to nickel and dime you out your pockets. LOL!!!! So glad I found this place!! While looking for another shop that actually closed down I came across this place and decided to give them a try. They are very convenient as they are in Chamblee close to work. I have had 2 different phones repaired at this shop. 1st phone had water/hardware damage. I thought this would cost me an arm and a leg so I was hesitant to take it to them. When I went in they said they do not charge to take a look at it and give you a quote. To my surprise they repaired it for a very reasonable price. After the repair phone was still having issues but he gives some kind of warranty with his work so took it back and now phone is just like new. I now have brought them my 2nd phone iPhone 6splus with a cracked screen. Took it to him and was ready in about an hour!!! Gentleman that runs the place is pretty knowledgeable and courteous.
