I was at an airport hotel in Atlanta, and I was flying out the next day to go an Alaskan cruise. I really wanted my phone repaired. I didn't believe in Unicorns. But on a random Wednesday night, at about 9:30 PM, I went to Yelp. I was frustrated with my busy day tomorrow and how I was going to repair the newly cracked camera lens on my relatively new iPhone. (I know.1st world problem). so I searched for repair businesses and hours and realized I could just ask for a proposal. Strangely, one business was "mobile" and offered to come to my place of residence or business and fix the phone. I realized that his hours for the evening ended at 12 AM. I can't even begin w/ the raves!!! I used the Yelp Quote Service and there were four companies that responded to me. The quotes were over priced in that after taxes would have ran over $100.00 and their immediate availability were not "immediate" and more like 48 Hrs or more. No bueno! I know the process- you need your phone fixed, you look through a bunch of reviews, pictures etc and you're just still not sure. We are never really sure right? Not this time. TechMates does exactly what they say they will, you will not have to wonder with this company. Let's start with the communication- super responsive during the inquiry/messaging phase on Yelp, then with regards to scheduling/confirmation and ETA on the day of and finally while fixing your device. They showed up on time, changed the batteries in two phones and a screen for me in about 45 minutes, and were absolutely professional. Ninety minutes later, he was at my door with a face mask on. He repaired two iPhones in his car, in my driveway.
