I called Celsius recently for help with a leak that was occurring under my bath. They are a local firm to me. I found them to be very professional from the start and they arranged an appointment for one of their engineers to come out at a convenient time to me. The engineer himself was prompt and reliable and even telephoned me in advance to let me know he was on his way. He was able to quickly diagnose what was wrong and what he had to do to resolve matters, along with the costs involved, which were very reasonable. He came back with the necessary parts and completed the job, after which he took the time to explain to and show me what he had done. I was delighted with the end result of the work, both in terms of it stopping the leak and also how everything looked. He even told me not to hesitate to contact him again if I had any questions I had not thought of at the time or if any other issues arose. Indeed, several days have now passed since the job was completed and everything is working perfectly again. As someone who does not know much about DIY, nor has to call trades firms often, I am naturally sceptical about the possibility of being taken advantage of in terms of costs and also the firm itself being unreliable, for example. But the service I received from Celsius certainly served to reassure me of any doubts I had about any of these things. I called my letting agent Arden Properties at 09:00 one morning with an urgent plumbing issue and the owner of Celsius: Michael attended within around an hour of being given the job. Every aspect of the repair carried out, the tidying up afterwards and the communication with Joyce in the office has been flawless. I was kept informed every step of the way. Celsius are fantastic. They installed my new combi boiler replacement and service my Ideal combi boiler every year since my combi boiler installation back in 2021. They are easy to deal with and their plumbers are always professional and friendly. We had a long-standing issue with the boiler so arranged Celsius to attend for that and to service the boiler. Communication before the appointment was excellent, including on the day where they gave an indication of what time they'd arrive which was helpful. Very unhappy with quality of work. Poor installation of a shower unit has since cost thousands of pounds worth of damage to four rooms in my house. I am glad I have insurance. Avoid these cowboys and go with a professional tradesmen that carry a guarantee and have reviews from real people and not friends and family. read more
