James Shoe Hospital has been my place to get shoes repaired for more than 30 years, and they are…read moreamazing!! Their work is done very professionally - and is done CORRECTLY!! We have had men's shoes (dress shoes, casual shoes, and sandals), ladies' shoes, purses, and other leather goods repaired (and even rebuilt!) here, always with total satisfaction. Although getting here is a long drive for us and the hours of operation are a bit inconvenient - it is well worth it!! Through the years, there have been a couple of times that James Shoe Hospital was closed for vacation, etc., when I had to take shoes elsewhere. Very bad mistake!! Each time, I then had to take them to 'the Hospital' to get improperly done repairs corrected!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

There was always an EXCUSE if there were communication with said owner. Long story short after "SEVEN" months, $150.00 bags were still not fixed. Workmanship was something of an inexperienced youth. Absolutely unexceptionable. Repairs were NOT made, all repairs on LV bags were not completed. "NEVER" would I suggest any individual take items to the business.

I called and spoke to you to tell you we'd pick up the boots, but I'd have to wait another week to pick up my 4 single Easy Spirits. I asked about the $50 each for zippers, and you got EXTREMELY huffy, loud, and RUDE saying you told my son $50 ea. and I said to you, "I said we're coming to pick up his boots tomorrow!" I am not used to being yelled at by strangers with that tone, over the phone or otherwise, and I told you so. So after we hung up, I thought about your atrocious attitude as a businessman, I told my son that for $158, he can have a new pair of boots, and I can get a new pair of Easy Spirits, which is precisely what we did the very next day! After we didn't come to get our merchandise, you continued to call and leave messages, to say if we didn't pick them up they were going out. But the most outrageous thing to me was the $58 to glue that piece on the bottom of my shoes! So, it was all too little to late and I had NO intentions of ever speaking or doing business with you again! You see, we had had a zipper put in a boot before for $15 in Paducah but they are no longer there--and then, you proceeded to bad mouth our man in Paducah. Not a high point!! Their email response was on point and they answered all my questions! I boxed up my favorite Fye pair, and with a phone call to verify the correct address with "Troy" I shipped them out USPS. Per the tracking they arrived two days later at 10 a.m. I received a Text from Peabody at 11:30 a.m. the same day alerting me that they were done and would be shipped out the same day. I paid and two day later my boots arrived USPS. They looked great and I wore them the next day to work. I was more than pleased.
