The shoe repair business, the absolutely one of the worst. Items dropped off in Mid Nov 2024. Pick up supposedly end of Dec. After "DAILY" calls w/ voicemail "ALWAYS" full. I decided to wait another month, still no contact. After "FIVE" months, I decided to drive the 125 miles to retrieve my Louis Vuitton travel bags. Only to find a "NOTE" on said business, that owner had emergency surgery (understandable). Waited another month"TWO" months, not being able to contact said business. There was always an EXCUSE if there were communication with said owner. Long story short after "SEVEN" months, $150.00 bags were still not fixed. Workmanship was something of an inexperienced youth. Absolutely unexceptionable. Repairs were NOT made, all repairs on LV bags were not completed. "NEVER" would I suggest any individual take items to the business. read more

My complaint about this shoe repair shop is similar to others. You cannot count on the cobbler to complete the work on-time. Dropped off a pair of boots on 08/30/24 for new soles. I don't live in Clarksville, so, I paid him to ship the boots to my home. Cobbler said three weeks. After five weeks and still no boots, I was in Clarksville, stopped into his store. He said he had just a little bit left to complete the job. Today is 10/18/24, seven weeks and still no boots. Sigh. read more

Dropped off my 9 year olds boot to have the toe reattached to the sole and my 3 yr olds boot needed new zipper pulls. Charged $20, paid up front. Was told to come back in a week. Came back a week later still wasn't done. Returned 5 MORE times (different days) the second attempt my 9 yr olds boot was finished. Third attempt in morning I came by at 9:21 and the sign was still closed, no one answered the phone. The fourth time he said the pulls were in he just needed to attach them to come back later that day or the next morning. FIFTH time I come the boots are sitting on counter w the new pulls but had not been stitched so I had to wait for him to finish that. No respect or consideration for my time, business and multiple returned attempts. Do not recommend and will not be back. read more

I'm new to the Clarksville area. I found this store on line. Once I got there the gentlemen was very polite. I didn't have cash on me....my limit was 10.00 to charge...so waited until I found the cash and my shoe was ready the same day! Now I have a shoe repair man. read more

I took a suitcase here to have a zipper fixed in December. I came back every month for four months to pick it up and each time he said he hadnt gotten to it yet. I tried to be patient with him but after four months I finally just asked for my money (and suitcase) back. Quite unreliable. read more

I took a pair of new Corcoran Jump boots in to have ripple soles installed. The owner/cobbler seemed nice although he wanted complete payment in full and up front. It was 75.00. I paid him and left the boots. He told me it would be about a week. I had not heard from him in several days (about 9) so I phoned him. He told me he had to order the soles so the work was delayed. After a month and several phone calls later, he said he had them done. A friend picked them up for me as this place is about an hour drive. Upon receiving the boots, I really was not too pleased. He made the heel so high on these they were on the verge or being ridiculous. The heel area had also been belt sanded too much leaving the heel very narrow in the rear. Well, I wore the boots. After about a week, the glue he used to attach the soles started to fail at the tip of the boot. I phoned him. He was very friendly and told me to bring them back. I did and he re-glued at no charge. I wasn't going to pay him anyway. I do desk work nowadays and am not in the action much anymore. These should not have failed. Especially in a week. About 3 weeks later the exact same thing happened again. I did not bother contacting this guy and ended up taking them to a different shoe repair store in Ft. Campbell. After talking to the owner and showing him the boots, we both laughed at them a little and agreed they looked like high heels. This other shop is currently in the process of rebuilding my Corcoran boots that the guy at Riverside screwed up. As for the glue, I was informed by the later store that it was an inferior glue that was weak and most people didn't even use it anymore. Even though Mr. Riverside Shoe Repair sounds super nice on the phone, beware. It is obvious to me that he lacks the skills to do proper work, he is expensive (they are being fixed correctly at nearly half the cost) and he uses inferior materials. I will consider this a 75.00 lesson learned. I will NOT go back to Riverside. EVER. read more
