Gander Mountain is really much more a hunting/fishing store - Scheels focuses on all outdoor activities, including running, skiing, biking, etc. Great customer service - other stores should send their staff here for training. Polite, helpful, knowledgeable - from the cashier to the store manager. Overall, best retail experience in the Mall. It is in-between Macy's and the Food Court, right across from Chipotle (the Yelp maps are incorrect, at least as of 1-2-2016

The gentleman in charge asked if he could help as soon as we entered. We said no, just looking. I asked about about another local business which he confirmed and our conversation started. Very friendly atmosphere and well stocked with fishing and sporting goods. He and I talked about handguns while my wife checked out the rest of the neatly kept store. He was knowledgable about handguns and had a number of them on display. Would have given 5 stars if there would have been more displayed. May have had more inventory in safe keeping but I did not ask. This is a small town so it's understandable not having a huge inventory on display. This was a nice break and I'll stop in again in a few months when back in the area.
