The second, by the direction I was traveling at the time was too dumpy to consider even slowing down for, the one after that was similarly dismal by exterior appearances. Finally as I was done with my work in town I was heading out, and had to get a road soda and use the facilities. They were dire, at best. Getting an energy drink was the best option since the coffee station was lacking, and it was filthy anyway. An empty store, dirty floors, coffee and the hot foods were unstocked. The lazy clown was busy with social media and having a swearing contest with a trashy woman who was pissing about some injustice she'd been through. I wish I'd have driven a couple miles further and gone to the first store at the northern most end of this town. Today I was back in this area where, for another small electrical troubleshooting job, and I did stop at the nicest KT. Maybe later I'll think to write about its far superior management and perhaps even the ownership is corporate run, because I can't imagine the other three were. They have to be private franchises that have little adherence to their parent company's policies

Thanks for knowing that fuel isn't always about price but performance. I'm more than willing to pay a bit more up front to save me costly repairs down the road. This location earns a FIVE STARS on the YELP Convenience Walk of Fame. First and foremost, CLEAN restrooms! Praise Jesus! Two nice size stalls in the women's restroom. One sink with soap and a loud air dryer. One checkout counter inside with a relatively friendly clerk. She's running people through and monitoring pumps so there's no time for idle chatter. Store is stocked. Huge selection of beverages, candy and chips. Solid selection of various sundries. Magazine selection is naught. Men's Heath. Women's Health. Guns and Ammo. That's it. Huge selection of donuts. Some fresh fruit available. Churros and hotdogs also available. MAPS! They have maps and atlases! Plenty of pumps that fit a truck and boat. Lots of diesel pumps too but didn't see anyone using them. EASY in and out!

We were impressed with all the things they had to offer since we've never been in one before. There were several special on different things like a free banana with the purchase of a yogurt. Bananas were cheaper than a grocery at $.39 a pound. They also had several different kinds of sandwiches on sale for $1. We loaded up and were thrilled. The employees were very friendly which made it feel just like a home town store. Wish we had them in Kentucky.

We got Chicken Tenders, Mini Tacos and Mozzarella sticks. The tenders were huge and tasty. The only problem was that they were labeled as crispy, but the breading was more like KFC Original Recipe and not crispy at all. The mini tacos were spicy and crunchy. Even the Mozzarella sticks even had some stretch to them! If we ever find ourselves in this area we definitely will stop here again.
