Service can be a bit slow because it gets busy, but nothing ridiculous. I paid 80 pesos for each coco (coconut) and they each only had about 8oz of water inside them. They need to find bigger cocos or charge less for those!! Beers were ice-cold. Very relaxed vibe here. Have been here a few times and I always enjoy it. Have never tried the food but it looked good! I rolled a joint at my table and nobody said anything about it. Peaceful, calm, great place to relax and chat while admiring the beautiful sea.

They didn't rush us and allowed us to wander around the beach without closing our tab. We ordered stuff on the menu, our server suggested we get the catch of the day and that they would give us a discount because they wanted to use the fish. We ordered 2. When it came out, we were all impressed with its presentation but we were more impressed when we ate it. So good! There's a 4% fee if you use a credit card. If you use dollars, they only give you 16 pesos to a dollar versus the 17.50. When the bill came out, a 15% gratuity was added to the bill, I told him that I didn't want to pay the 15% but insisted that he change it to 35% for being so attentive. Every time we turned around, he would see us and come over right away. I didn't catch his name unfortunately. He didn't really speak English. Luckily we had one person in our crew that spoke a little bit of Spanish. Next to the restaurant is a massage tent. Do it! I suggest not having any sand on you or else it'll feel like an exfoliation. I'm def hitting up this beach front restaurant again next time I'm in Cancun!

One day there was a girl in the front, that honestly hated her job or being there! I was for yoga so ignored her attitude, but other than that! Is clean, wished I would stay there honestly! I am so glad I did! Having a mini split A/C that was completely under my control and a shower in my own room was a luxury that I was grateful to have after being active outdoors all day everyday! Had I been in one of the tents with what seemed like questionable ventilation, my experience may have been quite different. First of all, they have an easy system to book online. Any emails I sent received a response within a day! That was very helpful! There are three different wifi options depending on your location in the two main buildings, so that was also nice. The location is on the southern end of Tulum pueblo, not by the beach. There are bikes for rent at 120 pesos/day (you can get one cheaper in town for about 100 pesos/day, but at the time of this writing, it's only about $1/day difference. It was about 5 min ride to the Meztli Spanish school in the center of town, but you do have to cross the main Avenida, which can be busy with traffic. The tents ran about $60 USD/day and you have common restroom/shower you share with the other tents. 2stalls & showers for men and 2 for women. The suite I was in was $85 USD/day, not cheap by Mexico standards, but in the US you'd get a crappy room at a cheap hotel for that price! There us a solid wooden gate for security and each patron is given a key so if they need to enter past 11pm they can access the gate. You walk in and directly walk up to reception on a gravel walkway. There are several tents to the right and the shower/bathroom are just beyond that. Behind reception is a small building are two suites, a large one and a smaller one (where I stayed) which shares a porch. Just beside that and past the tents is a small two story building with three more suites. Beside that, a lovely little pool and to the right of the pool, the restaurant Flow, with a great outdoor seating area covered with trees and a covered part with 5 tables with a bench along the wall and swings on the other side of each table! Just past the restaurant is a large screened-in open air gazebo in which they have yoga lessons at 8:30 am and 7pm every day for 100 pesos a class. You must pay at the reception and receive a ticket which you give to the instructor. I did yoga there during a thunderstorm and it was so cool, it was almost cliche! The staff is super friendly and are happy to let you practice your español! I will definitely stay here next time I am in Tulum! Me encanta Harmony hotel!

Getting to the park was very easy, and we drove there in our rental using Google Maps to get to the park. I would say it was about a 5 minute drive from the center of town. There is also a large sign for the park, so you can't miss it when you are driving there. When we arrived, there was ample parking. We paid at the main building for our tickets, and there is also a museum and gift shop. They have lots of nice souvenirs here, like honey and soaps. The grounds around the park are very lovely, with murals, gardens, and more. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the local area, nature, and so on, and spoke very good English. The tour is not a long walk, and there were different parts to the tour that made it all interesting. The bees in this area are not known for stinging people, but if you have kids who are scared of bees, be aware that bees are flying around here. Younger kids may not be as interested in things like history and biology as well, so just keep this in mind if you take younger children. We started off at a cenote, and walked through the jungle observing different natural elements of the area. There are beehives to check out, which is neat considering that the bees here do not make a honeycomb like bees in the US do. At the end of the tour, we did a honey tasting at tables outside. It was neat to taste and compare different types of honey, and the bees in this area produce a very unique tasting honey. We even got a little bag of treats after the sampling, which was a nice surprise. Overall, we had a nice time at the tour. I thought the price was reasonable, the length of the tour was good, and the taste testing was a nice interactive feature. I also enjoyed the surroundings, such as the local flora and fauna.

I should mention, I was traveling with my husband and my three children, the youngest of which is under 2. We were tired, hungry, and a little nervous about being in a foreign country with nowhere to stay. We had no number and no address, but I did see online that Shambala was next door. I called the number-which was also difficult to figure out because of the area codes, etc. Roberto, the owner, answered with perfect English and directed us back to his hotel to help us. He informed us that there had been some unfortunate events next door and gave us the owners phone number to try to get our deposit back. Roberto and his staff are so kind and welcoming. He rented two cabanas to my family and it was the most memorable, beautiful vacation we've ever had. This is not a resort. If you're looking for that, you've come to the wrong part of town. These are beautiful ecological beachside cabanas. No, there is no A/C but you don't need it. The breeze from the Caribbean Sea at night is enough to keep you cool. Breakfast is included and delicious. The homemade granola is the best I've ever had. On our last night we happened to see a turtle hatching-coolest thing ever! Roberto made us feel like family, gave us recommendations on food and touristy type things. He saved our vacation! I will be back to Shambala as soon as possible.

The grounds and beachfront are basically perfect, so even though I'm a long beach-walker I found myself most days not going anywhere and just enjoying the site. All of the rooms are beautifully architected and attentively cleaned on a daily basis. The kitchen and grounds staff are friendly and very trustworthy, never once was I at all annoyed or disappointed. The food is incredible, served at designated mealtimes in the most beautiful way. They will accommodate your special diet. (Everything is triple-washed, all water triple-ionized... you can relax and eat everything they give you.) There is a resident massage therapist named Mari who does incredible work. Oh, and the yoga studio is a work of art! Roberto, the owner, conducts his work with integrity and has a real passion for providing a quality experience. They are continually making minor improvements to their operation. I've spent some incredibly happy and restorative days here and definitely hope to return.
