However, they created Day Without Hate - Mr Ben Reed is so enthusiastic over it and honestly makes the community get along for at least a day. Inspiring. He came to each class well-prepared. He has the ability to explain complicated problems in an easy way. He knows the subject very well and is always willing to tailor his classes to each student's special needs. He is also very knowledgeable and can teach any subject from math, physics, and chemistry, to computer science. He takes the tutoring job very seriously and took special classes from CU so he can be well prepared for the job. We tried several different tutors. Cameron is clearly the best.

Things quickly went sour when the main teacher started disappearing for months at a time, placing the kids in the care of assistants, art teachers, music teachers, basically anyone with a pulse. This started to wear our child out and dropping him off became a triggering experience. He was never a clingy baby so it was odd to me how distraught he was at drop off. Rather than working with you on behavior issues, they are quick to throw incident reports your way basically blaming your kid for everything. The final straw came when my child was left unattended long enough to destroy the classroom, the staff had the audacity to tell me my 3 year old child needed to take books home to glue pages back together when he was the one left unattended and could have been seriously hurt. The music teacher discussed death of a loved one with my child without permission, they didn't take accountability for either incident which really didn't sit right with me. Not to mention they take more days off than public schools but you're paying an insane amount of money just because it's "Montessori" This place is a glorified daycare, and a crappy traumatizing one at that.

I came from a school where the after school activities were overflowing with choices like Art, Band, cooking, science, cheerleading, taekwondo, sports and more. The kids all get an I - pad for free so that's awesome, but we have yet to see if the new technology will help scores. I wonder if the PTA ever considered a huge bake sale, community yard sale, art sale or something like that. Gift cards, haunted house, there's endless ways to raise money to help get these programs in there. I hate to complain because I am too busy to even go to the PTA let alone become a leader there. Pretty upsetting.
