He was fun and witty but also made sure we were well educated on post operative care and the overall procedure. Come the day of procedure, the staff came and gave me updates throughout my wife's procedure letting me know she was ok and responding well to the sedation. They even gave her a water bottle with no straw! (Thank god cause we only own a hydroflask and straws are a no no) and a free 16 oz smoothie. I mean could this place get any better? It does! She later had dry socket on the weekend when the office is closed and Dr. Gresehover responded right away and saw her immediately to apply medication to help with pain.

I was experiencing intense dental pain the likes I'd never experienced before so my spouse called on October 9th to try to get me in because we figured it was my wisdom teeth and we were told that they would be flexible about the sedation they'd require (I am EXTREMELY phobic of IVs and just the thought of being awake while one is inserted makes my heart race). The scheduling person said "next Thursday," which we assumed meant the 17th. Called on the 16th to make sure the x-rays we sent in went through and to ask a couple questions. The appointment was actually for "Thursday the 23rd." If you look at your calendar, October 2019 didn't have a Thursday the 23rd. After a lot of confusion, we were able to figure out it was for Wednesday the 23rd. And they changed the time on me too, making it over two hours earlier than I was originally told. I've only been to one dentist before this and it was a complete nightmare so I was very anxious, bordering on panic, but the dental assistant who we talked to for quite a long time really made me feel better. She was incredibly reassuring and laid all of my fears to rest. Even their little informational video you have to watch didn't scare me off because she just made me feel so much better. I was ready to schedule. Then Dr. Reynolds walked in and emotionally kicked me in the stomach. They don't do "breathe downs" in office, wouldn't answer when I asked why, wouldn't explain why I "need" an IV beyond the "position" of my teeth. He said they could do a "breathe down" at the hospital but he made it very clear he wouldn't be happy to do it. I was told that they could give me Valium to calm me down for the IV insertion and when I said Valium hasn't helped me AT ALL in the past, he just shut down the option without even asking if anything else has a history of helping. He just really made me feel like he thought I was a bothersome child and that he was trying to dictate how to handle my health and my body. Edit to Add: Dr. Reynolds asked to put a tourniquet on me to look at the veins in my forearms (this was before I realized he was talking about doing this with me fully aware) because I have a medical condition that makes having needles in my joints/hands extremely problematic. He put the band right across the middle of my elbow joints, even after I explained that having my joints messed with causes me excruciating pain. People who know about such things have told me that's definitely not where you're ever supposed to tie off to get veins to pop because joints cannot compress properly. It was extremely painful while he was doing it but I gritted my teeth to get through it because the rest of the awfulness hadn't happened yet. I experienced numbness and pain in my arms and hands for the next 36 hours due to this. [end of edit] I did not finish the consultation and left in tears. My dad also had a negative experience with Dr. Reynolds in July but I was hopeful that his experience was a fluke. Apparently, it was not because the things he said about Dr. Reynolds' attitude was exactly how I was treated as well. Do not recommend if you have anxiety or don't like being treated like an ignorant child.

The daytime splint caused severe sensory distress that never improved, no matter how many adjustments were made. The nighttime splint arrived with a significant lab error and had to be manually altered by a dental assistant. I was told a correct replacement would be ordered. It never arrived. There were no alternative options offered. No individualized care. No acknowledgment that the treatment was failing. When I asked for support because the devices were unmanageable, the office manager, Jamie, told me to keep trying to wear the splint and to call back if it eventually started working. That was the entire response. No guidance. No assessment. No empathy. It was clear in that moment that this practice is not equipped to support patients who do not fit into their narrow, one size fits all model. I paid almost five thousand dollars out of pocket. I received nothing that addressed my pain or my needs. I filed both a dispute and a board complaint. Both were denied, but that does not change what happened. A denied complaint does not mean the treatment was ethical. It only means the provider did not violate the strict legal thresholds used by the board. It does not reflect agreement with the care I received. My report now sits in Dr. Ferrara's record, and it belongs there. I hope other patients speak up if they experience similar issues. Silence only protects patterns. This experience has had lasting effects. It has damaged my trust in dental providers, including the dentist who referred me here. The lack of compassion, flexibility, and accountability created a level of anxiety I now carry into any dental appointment. I am sharing this so others can make fully informed decisions before committing to expensive treatment. My experience with Dr. Nicole Ferrara's practice showed me that this office is not prepared to adapt care, support complex cases, or provide the attention patients deserve. Too embarrassed to go anywhere, have to goop them up to hold for a few hours (at which time I can only not eat but can't drink water it anything as the dentures will fall out. I'll finish by saying again GET A SECOND OPTION! And there are FREE consultations out there! This place does not offer that! Should have been my first red flag. Hence, broke, and broken and life forever changed. I have tried to call several times to schedule an appointment to try and help but no returned calls. I thought about stopping by the office and I actually got to the parking lot but my anxiety set in which is now my PTSD. The person who initially told me about this place ended up weighing 95 lbs and had to go to Mexico to get her life somewhat straightened out with her denture/ implant debacle! I'm glad for her as she had the funding and the lifestyle. For me that's impossible. If I win the lottery I'll head to a. Portugal where this process is much better update and costs much less.
