I went in for a consultation on implants. They did a Panasonic X-ray that my insurance didn't cover. I was told I could use the grants I got. They sent me to the Oral Surgeon they use, and the lady at the front desk was very rude to me. They didn't take my insurance and I would have to prepay for the service I was getting in full!! I don't know how they stay in business if she treats most people this way. I had paid with my debit card $25 for the consultation and she told me she'll put it towards the balance of the consultation fee. I asked her "what??" It was $150 for the consultation fee but I was told $25. And I had to wait for weeks to get my $25 back!! I paid with my debit card and that's the same as cash, but because Dr.Reynolds DDS had to write me a check, I had to wait for my money and then they wouldn't mail it, I had to go to the office and get it. And now Aspen Dental is constantly bothering me to pay for the X-ray that should've been pre authorized and it's $400!! I'm disabled and elderly and they knew my financial situation. I haven't had teeth for over a decade and I have a hard time swallowing food and getting it chewed up enough so I don't choke. It seems like all they care about is their money.I won't be paying them for the X-ray as I didn't want anything my insurance wouldn't cover. The snap in dentures WITH my two grants were still going to be $6,000! I couldn't get an itemized breakdown of the charges. The only thing I could get was the bill they believe I owe them. They told me that they were necessary yet the Oral Surgeon told me they would be taking their own. Aspen & Reynolds have a pretty hefty scam going on here!! They take advantage of people who come in with no knowledge of what they really need. You need to get a second opinion if you do go to Aspen Dental even if you had a good first visit. The dentist office closed February 1st. I paid over $11K for a lower snap-in denture. I was able to see the lower and new upper denture. I email them, but get a notice they are working on getting releases out. It is now March 25th and have not received a release nor my dentures. Does anyone know what happened? It is a huge amount of money I may be losing. read more

They do procedures that don't need to be done. I had 7 teeth pulled and found out later they did not need to be extracted. Money Hungry. They used more than the allotted yearly maximum, of my insurance; without my knowledge. When I was having my teeth pulled, fully awake, the Dentist left 3 times to go help one of the other technicians, leaving me sitting there with numbing wearing off, I'm looking at bloody teeth on the tray in front of me and I needed to be numbed again, each time. read more

Be very careful. They asked if I wanted to set up a care credit card, which was fine... but they charged that card 16000 before anything had even been done. They then tried to rush me into setting up everything before I left. I got home and felt swindled and with a feeling of "what just happened"?? They did end up refunding the money, but the fact that it was charged in the first place was beyond sketchy. Be careful what you sign up for and get a second opinion. There are other clinics that will do the work for MUCH cheaper. And wont charge you for things that have not even been done. read more

Was In dire need of a Dentist because of a Tooth Ache for several days, made an appointment with Lincoln Place Dentistry telling them about my situation and very much needed a Tooth Extraction, they took me in and did x rays and consultation, during which I told the Dentist that I wanted an Extraction on my painful tooth which I hadn't slept well night before. After my x rays, consultation was lead off to Front Office where I was informed that I had to return in a couple of days because there Appointment Schedule was full. I complained that the reason I made my appointment there was because I needed a Tooth Extraction, they were happy to take my money for services rendered. DO NOT GO HERE! I found Aspen Dental, explained my situation, took me in right away and had my tooth extraction. Am pain free and they will be my Dentist. read more

Everything needs to improve I got partials 3 months later a tooth falls out I take it back the same tooth falls out I take it back second time then they say it's going to be sent back in and they're going to do it it's returned to me all scratchy to the lip and the tooth falls out within hours I call to find out about the tooth no one returns my car I called back the next day no one returns my call I'm leaving messages every time I call even from the first time when the young lady at the desk I'll make sure someone gets you calling that you know then I take it back to now two and a half weeks later no teeth you call you call you call and nobody called you back what kind of service is this it's awful it's racist it is the most but unprofessional place I've ever been in and I'm 68 years old this is the worst care anyone could give someone being a form of the medical field and I work the medical field longer than any of them kids in there or old corporate corporate corporate read more

**Before you read- moral of this review is: Ensure you're asking questions about your services and have a full understanding of the breakdown of your charges (you can skip to last paragraph if you're in a rush). I had a similar experience a couple of months ago as other users. I was looking to get in for a routine cleaning and had gone to two separate appointments. As someone who works with customers regularly, here are a couple of frustrations I experienced. 1.) lack of communication. I expressed several times that I would like to get in for a routine cleaning. I understand there is a process for most dental offices and routine check-ups that need to be done before assessing each customers needs. What I didn't expect was to have to get three different consults before ever having anything done. I planned my visits two separate times around work and was unaware I'd have to make a third appointment to have anything done. A clear breakdown of what would need to be done beforehand would be appreciated. 2.) My first visit was x-rays and the second visit I simply spoke with a tech, who then re-assessed my teeth and gums, even after the first visit had already done so. She was a travelling assistant who expressed she was in town to help the new area. She had left "Keeping up with the Kardashians" on the TV, and ran through a few questions, but did not ask about my prior dental care (which was important, as I wore invisible braces for the last year and a half). She asked if I'd be interested in adding a toothbrush (to which I politely declined- as I have a brand new and expensive sonicare brush - my friend who works in dental industry suggested). She also asked if I'd like to add teeth whitening, to which I said was not necessary unless covered by my insurance, but that i'd have to look into it at a later time. She had said there were a couple spots in my gums that were a "level 4, pushing 5" - similar to others, she exclaimed I'd have to get the periodontal flush for the next few visits, and over time it can improve. She then discussed a number of other products like a paste-an alternative to whitening, and a mouthwash rinse to use at home, but none of which *(although I asked) were required. The most frustrating part of this experience was I had wasted another hour and a half at an appointment where no work was done- I was told I'd then have to meet with the office manager and discuss financing and set up another appointment- understandable- but not what I was expecting nor previously stated. Upon speaking to the office manager, I find that this is going to cost over $2,000, even with my insurance (which was really great insurance, according to them). When I asked if I could see a printed breakdown of the charges, she then printed off and handed to me, and asked if everything that was discussed that day was clear. As I looked at the charges- which included the whitening paste, a whitening in the facility, the rinse, and then the periodontal flush- and included many other items that could not be explained- I said no, that most of the things we discussed were elective, that I was confused. NOT LISTED- was the $180 toothbrush that the manager exclaimed she could remove- to which I asked why it was not listed, with no answer. I expressed I would have to do more research, as I have gone to three different dentists my entire life, of which I've never had such terrible feedback on my oral health, nor this type of service. I had expected things to be different but was unsure why the crazy services and fees for a routine cleaning, and could my oral health truly be so bad? Upon describing this experience with my friend who is a Dental Assistant back in North Dakota, she mentioned it sounded like a place called "Aspen Dental," to which I responded in fact, it was! She advised me never to go there, as they have a reputation of requiring dental work that is not necessary. I have since gone to another dental provider in the area who asked many more questions, agreed that some pockets in my gums were maybe a level 4, but was explainable by asking more questions about my past dental history.....like my recent braces. I was able to have routine cleaning done and will be monitoring my gum/teeth health, but that there was no real alarm or concern about decay or disease. Moral of the story....Make sure to ask questions before rushing into services. Every dental office and business does things differently, for Aspen, perhaps they have a set of different standards, but as a business, to be more upfront with customers, especially those who are new or obviously very confused. And to have hidden fees like toothbrushes that weren't wanted in the first place? It should be a requirement to go through line by line what the breakdown of services and charges are with patients, and ultimately their decision or choice. I left with a frustrated and sour taste in my mouth...no pun intended. read more

I want to warn everyone about Aspen Dental! Avoid this place like the plague! They are con-artists! I went to this Dentist for a routine exam, X-rays and a cleaning. I had insurance and was a new patient. The Dentist came in, didn't introduce herself or say a word to me. Just started the exam. (Before she came in I had X-rays and the X-ray tech was super nice and friendly.) When she was done she told me I had a cavity and left the room. They sent me to meet with a patient care coordinator who told me the cost to fix the cavity. They never showed me my X-rays and pointed out the cavity. She went on to tell me I have periodontal disease and that I would need to have a major procedure to have antibiotics applied and an invasive deep cleaning done. She said I also needed to buy a "special" toothbrush from them. She said my insurance wouldn't cover any of it, including the exam or X-rays. I knew that was wrong so I pulled up my insurance information and showed her my X-rays and exam were free and my cavity was covered at 50%. She didn't look at it. Just said, "ok". Then adjusted those out of the price and gave me an estimate of $1,259 She said insurance wouldn't cover it, without looking at my insurance at all. When I inquired about this "special" toothbrush I was shown an Oral B electronic toothbrush. They never asked me what kind of toothbrush I owned. I happen to own the Philips Sonicare Diamond. I asked her is this Oral B brush was any better since I have a very nice electronic toothbrush. She said the Oral B is better. I asked her if they sold it at a discount, why wouldn't I just buy it myself at Target? She said yes, they had it at a special price that was discounted. I look up that exact toothbrush on Amazon, Walmart and Target and it is cheaper on all three sites! The Dentist office is selling it for $62 over what everyone else is selling it for. I made an appointment for my filing for my cavity and was told I had to pre-pay for that appointment. I did pre-pay. I hesitated on the expensive periodontal treatment. They used scare tactics and said I had to do it right away. Since I go to the Dentist on a regular basis and have no signs of gengivitis or periodontal disease I booked an appointment at another Dentist. I was a new patient there. Got X-rays and an exam. I didn't say anything about the periodontal disease or the cavity. Dentist did a full exam, and X-rays. Tells me my teeth and gums look great. Says that I don't have any cavities. Shows me my X-rays. I ask him about gingivitis or periodontal disease. He says nope. Don't have any indication of either of those. Tells me everything looks great. So Aspen Dental is scamming people! I am so livid! I did call and get my prepayment back for the cavity that were going to fix. They fabricated a cavity and periodontal disease. And a B.S toothbrush that I personally didn't need. read more

I've had horrible experiences with dentists for years. The result was several missing teeth with bad infections and broken teeth in the ones that were remaining. The pain was severe and constant for a long time. I finally reached a breaking point where I knew I had to get the rest pulled and get dentures. I chose Aspen Dental in Loveland. After they did the x-rays and thoroughly explained the process my appointment was booked for a week later so they could do my impressions to make the temporary dentures and so I could take a round of antibiotics for infection first. The office manager Jess helped me get financing and has been very supportive. Dr. Hameed has been awesome. Answered all of my questions, has been sensitive to my pain levels, and pulled 18 teeth in just under an hour. I've never had an extraction go so smoothly, let alone so many at once. My dental assistant Tommy has been there for me since he did the first set of impressions. Held my hand when I needed it during the procedure, and has been really caring and patient with me while making adjustments to my dentures as I've needed them. Getting in to get those adjustments has never been a problem, I can walk in without an appointment and they take me straight back. Everyone on the staff has been so helpful throughout this process, and for the first time in my life I'm relaxed walking into the dentists office. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Dr. Ahmed Hameed is the best dentist I've ever been to. I had several missing teeth due to paradontal issues and chose Aspen dental for my care. He explained the procedure to process to get my snap in dentures. Answering all my questions in detail. When it was time to do my surgery he made sure I was never in pain and was there step by step with my best interest in mind. It is a process to get the implants. He walked me thru every step and was honest about everything so no surprises! I really liked that. Now I have a full set of teeth that not only look amazing and natural, I can eat, smile,sing and enjoy life! I got my confidence back! No hiding my mouth. I appreciate all he has done to make me feel better than I have in years! The teeth are functional and look amazing. I recommend him to everyone who has any dental issues.
