I have been under Dr. Yelin's care for 7 years and could not be happier with her individualized…read morecare or her approach to ensuring I am the healthiest and happiest woman I can be. I appreciate Dr. Yelin's directness as well as how informed she is. I applaud her for her charging as it makes it clear that she values her own time as well as the time of the patients that have later appointments. I saw two other doctors in Houston specializing in women's hormones before finding Dr. Yelin. I feel far healthier and more balanced under Dr. Yelin's care than those prior two. I love that she allows visits by video conference after the initial visit and is very clear on what I am to do based on her analysis of my blood work. Thank you, Dr. Yelin!

I am very disappointed in my experience with Dr. Yelin. Communication throughout my care was poor…read moreand inconsistent, which left me feeling unsupported and unclear about my treatment. More concerning was that my ability to receive care appeared to be influenced by my husband's account status rather than my individual medical needs. This raised serious concerns about professionalism and patient-centered care. Additionally, the billing practices were excessive and unexpected. Appointments routinely exceeded $550, and I was charged at a rate of approximately $175-350 per hour for every minute of time spent, similar to an attorney's billing structure. Because there is no support staff, any time spent outside of scheduled appointments--regardless of how brief--was also billed by the minute. This was not clearly communicated upfront and felt unreasonable given the already high cost per visit. Patients deserve transparent communication, ethical decision-making, and care based on medical need rather than financial considerations. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot recommend this practice.

Had a colonoscopy this month. I love the staff's dedication to the comfort of their patients…read more They all had very positive attitudes and were attentive to my needs. Intake was on time and their prep was quick. They were attuned to the stress of this procedure. My team were Carrie, Ping, and Edgardo. There's nothing more I could have asked for to make a better experience. Thank you memorial Hermann for once again hiring great staff!

Going to the hospital is already stressful enough. For some anyway. And for us that was the case…read more We were here to visit a patient who was admitted via an emergency visit. So, it was unexpected. We were there around 7 or 8 and had just come in and saw two other family members sitting outside of the room. (They patient was still getting situated inside) so we were trying to gather information about the situation as we waited. I took note of a bag at the opposite end of the bench but thought nothing of it. We kept chatting while we waited to go in the room. Then out of nowhere a woman, a nurse, comes in, masked up, and draped a towel over her bag and walks away. Now. I'm only writing this as a review because I truly feel like this is microaggression. Why not just get your bag? Was us discussing our sick family member infecting your bag, in a HOSPITAL where YOU WORK? I mean your bag was cool to be there in the open before my family members were sitting there. With all the hospital germs floating in the air laying on them caressing them depositing on them what they will. And now that there was a few people near your possessions you need to cover them? We were appalled. Astounded.

This is the worst practice I've ever tried to get in to see. I was referred to them by my…read moreprovider's referral dept. They did not call me, so I called them. I had to leave a message, but no one called me back. After the weekend, I called again and was the 10th caller, but I waited (over 30 minutes) and got down to being the 2nd caller when a message came on that "due to high volume...leave a message". It even says that if you're calling from a cell phone, you will receive a text and you can communicate that way. Never got the text or a call. The next day, I called again and was the 9th caller (waited over 30 min, again). Got down to being the 3rd caller when I got the same message as before. Left my message and still received no text or a call. I have pulmonary fibrosis and was in the hospital and told I needed to see a pulmonologist. I was sent home with oxygen (thank goodness), but now I can't get a doctor. This office needs a complete makeover so they can properly take care of patients. I am trying to get a referral to someone else, but that's another story! From the looks of some other reviews, I'm not getting a warm, fuzzy feeling about this group anyway. I'm sure most of the doctors in this group are good, but the staff (appointment desk in particular) is worthless! If I could give below 5 stars, I would!!!
