They also said they would bill the secondary insurance but they never did. If you are fortunate to have insurance, please beware it does not go smoothly. They also upsell some "antibiotic rinse" that is above and beyond the normal antibiotic rinse and then say that the insurance company won't cover it. Can we all say "up sell"? I am so sick of being taken advantage of and upselling in every industry! Just give us what we need and stop trying to pad your profits on a contact basis!!!!! Absolutely thumbs down! Endodontists are a dime a dozen, do your research!

Dr. Jones's outfit (Endodontics of the Rockies) called me back promptly and got me in at 8 a.m., and patched me right up. Dr. Jones gave me a great explanation of what was going on and what the treatment plan would be. They had me back in action in no time, albeit with a numb face. :) Highly recommended.

They also said I needed to see a specialist who required an $800 fee just to sit down and talk with them before they would even look at my mouth. (How much of a kickback do they get from the specialist they're referring people to when they don't need to go to a specialist?) I went elsewhere. Turns out what they said was wrong isn't actually wrong but there are a couple of other things that are wrong that open & affordable missed--and all of it can be done by a regular dentist, no specialist needed. It's like a treat 'em & street 'em conveyor belt at the Loveland office. If you care about your health, time, and money, go elsewhere. Stay away from these corporate-owned and run dental offices like open and affordable, because they don't care about you or your dental health.

She only has one other dentist for competition, and that is my childhood dentist, who was just as good. Growing up, I thought all dentists were good with patients, knowledgeable and did their best to make you comfortable. After learning this was not the case, finding someone like Dr. Ray is just awesome. I've been seeing her for close to five years now, both at the CSU clinic and her private practice, and I received the same excellent care. She is also very good at what she does- she often does her own cleanings, is thorough and although I don't want to admit my cavity history, awesome at fillings. I had a previous dentist not give me enough Novocaine, causing some anxiety during this process. She was very understanding and kind and worked with me to make sure I was okay during the entire process. To give you an idea of how much I like her as a dentist, I live in Denver and drive 60 miles to see her. Last year, I attempted another dentist due to some unfortunate dental insurance and he tried to replace a lot of stuff that wasn't needed. Dr. Ray is honest about what you need, and will work with you on your schedule and payments. I HIGHLY recommend her as your dentist if you are in the Fort Collins area or surrounding areas, or if you are a die-hard fan, drive up from Denver.
