At first I thought the therapist understood what my daughter was going through. Then my daughter…read morestarted telling me she was super shamed every therapy session, shamed for her coping mechanisms as she struggled with severe anxiety and ptsd. We only went for a few sessions. I could never reach anyone on the phone, I always had to leave a message. We were charged for a couple of sessions that we had cancelled well in advance of 24 hours prior. They refused to rectify the bills and finally stopped responding to my phone messages and emails altogether. I am hundreds of dollars in the hole with this place. Stay away.

My insurance doesn't cover anyone in the area, but Birchwood offered me a solution if seeing their student at a reduced rate and she has been fantastic to work with! Sarah Crouse is such an amazing resource in healing and actually getting to the root of the problem and then as she puts it unwinding the tangle of yarn to get you back to a new normal. I would highly recommend Birchwood and any of their therapists! They are very professional and great to work with.
