He is also quite frank, which may be off-putting to some but is appreciated if you want the possibly grim truth about your condition without being given false hope. However, if you are coming to him as someone who has received a fatal diagnosis, as my family member did, you will find his services dwindle as the patient does. And what I mean by that is the distinct impression that he will not be making money off of the patient after a certain point and becomes hard to reach when the going gets tough. He seems to give plenty of attention when you are still healthy enough to keep paying, but if you are terminal he tries to milk it up front. As my family member declined, he pawned us off on his staff instead of giving the direct attention he did in the beginning.
