Brought my Dad for a consult as he has cancer. Prior to the appointment it was disclosed it would be $275 for the consult. At check out we were charged $412.50 plus 3% service charge for using a credit card. I asked why and the receptionist said it was because we went over an hour. She said she disclosed that to us over the phone but I definitely wasn't told that and neither was my sister in law. We were called into Carol Ann's office a while after our scheduled time, about 20 mins, then we were with Carol Ann and her RN for about an hour and 10 minutes in the office, then we were given a tour and then spoke to a current patient. The only prices disclosed at the counter were the high dose Vitamin C IV treatments which are $250 to $450. We didn't ask how much the colonics are, but they are recommended for all. We know treatment there would cost thousands of dollars a month, and maybe it works for some, but being charged extra for the consult really left a bad taste in our mouth, especially considering my Dad and most of her clients have cancer. It's just bad business to do that to possible new clients. Carol Ann seems very nice and sincere but should think about how a new client should be treated. At least mention at the hour mark it will cost more to keep listening to her talk. read more

I decided to become a patient of the Sante Center after my doctor, who began the process of treating me for neurotoxicity, retired. During my free initial virtual 15 minute consultation with the Sante Center staff, they explained that I would likely need to follow their protocol for 6-9 months to resolve my health issues. Prior to having met or examined me, they identified that they would be prescribing a special diet, juicing, colonics, Vitamin C IV infusions, and a series of detoxification products. It seemed unusual that I never met or was examined by the doctor who is in charge of the practice. 7 months and thousands of dollars later, my health issue was not resolved and my body was not able to handle the third level of CellCore antiparasitic and detoxification pills. I began to experience vision problems and other side effects. The Sante Center's response was to "back off" to the initial phase of CellCore products, and also to schedule an expensive supervised multiple-day medical fast at their facility. Additionally, I would need to increase the number of colonics and Vitamin C infusions I was receiving. The Sante Center stated several times that if I stick with their protocol, I will definitely be cured of my autoimmune disease & neurotoxicity in 2 years. According to them, they "have not steered anyone wrong yet." None of my costs at the Sante Center were covered by insurance (BCBS), and neither were the appointments with the NP. I was told that appointments with the NP would eventually be covered once I submit her superbill directly since she is a BCBS provider. But, because the Sante Center itself is not recognized by BCBS, the NP's treatments and consultations are not covered. Although it's expected to sometimes feel temporarily worse during detoxification, my condition was severely flared. In examining my provided list of daily prescriptions and health supplements they recommended going cold-turkey off a controlled substance I had been on for years. On day 10 of following their advice to abruptly go off this medication I was very ill. Had I not resumed it on my own this could have made me seriously ill. When questioned if the symptoms were because of it, the staff at the Sante Center assured me that it was not related - my PCP and new provider both know this to be false. This is the breaking point where I decided the Sante Center was not for me and found a new healthcare provider to address my toxicity issues. read more

I have been a patient for over 20 years at the Sante Center For Natural Healing and when I first started going there I had bright red splotches on my face, I could not focus (brain fog) severe ahtletes foot (open sores that would not go away) ear wax which cause hearing loss in one ear and severe dandruff. When I first started going there I was seeing another practitioner who was prescribing 25 pills per day. Basically a pill for every ailment including a pill for the other pills I was taking. When I started going to the Sante Center I was prescribed colon hydro-thearpy and when that happened all of the pills that I was taking (which didn't help and didn't notice any difference in my health and the practitioner stated it takes time for the pills to make a difference) were un-disolved (also very expensive). What was hard for me to understand was by receiving colon hydrothearpy how this could make such a dramatic change so quickly. I'm 6'2" 200 pounds and excercised 3 days a week, rode my bicycle any where from 100 to 300 miles a week and thought I was eating well, at least 1/2 gallon of milk per day, allot of meat and was still tired all the time. Once I was properly educated about how and what to eat I began to feel so much better. Friends that I hadn't seen for a while noticed that my complection completely healed, (excessive parasites in my intestine which cause issues with the liver) I used to have to blow my nose constantly and that is no longer an issue because I no longer drink milk (pleanty of iron in spinach) and when I tell people how old I am (57) no one believes me. My name is Wes N, I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in April of 2018. They gave me a life expectancy of six months to three years. There was a blood vessel encased with a large tumor and the cancer cells had spread to the lymph nodes. As a result of extensive rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, I developed two blood clots in my lungs. I had a shunt put in because a tumor was squeezing my bile duct. There are options for treatment, if you do not want chemo, radiation, or other toxic therapies! I've been treated at The Sante Center for the last 4 months. I had breast cancer, which was detected very early. I have been studying "alternative" cancer therapies for 10 years and as soon as I had my diagnosis I called The Sante Center. After 4 months, with visits 3 - 5 days a week, I am transitioning out of treatment. The Sante Center uses the gravity method for colon hydrotherapy (aka colonic) and it is very gentle. The CHT therapists are well trained and very professional. It seems that many of the patients at The Sante Center arrive there when their disease/condition is much more advanced than mine. I have witnessed huge changes in people who arrived in great pain and after a few weeks were clearly feeling much better and receiving encouraging reports from their scans. I trust the Carol Kummins, Dr. Mark Su, and the other practitioners at The Sante Center, as well as the treatment provided. Carol is definitely busy taking care of the patients. She, and Dr. Su, always have my chart in hand when we meet. They refer to my file during our meetings, as is appropriate. Very disappointed with the Sante Center! Avoid at all costs! I had a bad gut feeling about the place on my 1st visit - had to wait almost a half an hour - front desk kept apologizing - noisey - not that clean either! When I finally got to see Carol Facella Kummins ($175.00/hr) it was evident that she had not read my file that I had taken the time to provide them at least 10 days before my initial visit. I agreed to the Hair Analysis Test which was a waste of time and money (over $300.00). The Center never called me to let me know the test results were back. When I went for my followup appointment to review the results, I had to leave after waiting 30 minutes!! More apologies! Then they recommended blood work to see if I was ok to have Vitamin C infusions. I agreed (should have asked the price) but wasn't comfortable with the blood drawing procedures - again, the room and procedure was less than pristine! The bill for the blood work was $207.00!!! They charged $95.00 for a Bogus Nurse Assessment! I challenged it and told not to bother sending out the blood sample! There was NO Nurse Assessment! In September 2018, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer following a radical hysterectomy. The surgeon removed my uterus, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, omentum, and lymph nodes. My CA-125 (cancer marker) was 112.8, the normal range is 0-38. The biopsies taken during the surgery were positive metastatic cancer. The uterus was the primary site of the cancer. That primary cancer had metastasized to the left ovary, fallopian tube, and lymph nodes. The Medical Oncologist at Lahey Hospital, Dr. Nietschmann, prescribed 6 months of chemo and 5 weeks/ 5 days a week of radiation to begin immediately. I was scared. I have a few friends who have been through chemo and radiation. I helped them when they were too sick and too weak to take care of themselves and their families. I went to their appointments and their treatments. I went with them when they were fitted for wigs that would cover up the loss of their hair. They all went through hell and one sadly did not survive the cancer even after 3 rounds. I was nervous to the point of anxiety each time I had to go to the Oncologist's office for a consult or treatment planning. I did not want to wind up looking like the chemo/radiation patients in the waiting room - so sad and so sick. Really? I drove an hour to be here, arrived 15 min early.. I'm now 40 min passed my appointment time.. and i have things to do myself today .. i left so annoyed. I had recently started Going to The Sante Center for Natural Healing in the beginning of May of this year (2019.. Within this past year I had A Cronic health issue (constipation) it had turned bad... After 2 emergency room visits I was dealing with an impacted colon.. my husband & I could not understand why they just would give me a drink and send me on my way with no relief. I had the ultimate experience at the Sante Center. I was treated with the level of respect and professionalism seconded to none. The environment as clean and relaxing. The staff made me feel as though I was the most important person to ever walk through the door. I have had my share of experiences with other medical related services while playing football and during deployments to remote areas of the world. Trust me, this is the sort of establishment that make one appreciate the opportunities for care in America. To be specific without details lol, I asked for help with my overall well being. I felt sluggish and relied heavily on energy drinks and diet energy pills to give me motivation and vivacity for getting through my days. My joints wrenched and popped all day everyday. This was because I've had a dislocated hip from football, bad knees, broken wrists and fingers and high cholesterol! My family doctor thinks the management profile he put me on did the trick, but I did none of his prescribed regimen aside from the exercise, in lieu of the treatment from The Sante Center! This place is a fraud and they will tell you anything to take your money. I have been to many holistic centers and this place was the worst. I had a practitioner at Sante who was very good, but apparently, she was fired for stealing. I came for my appointment to find another woman who said she had no formal training on the service. The service went horribly and the owner tried to spin it as my issue and charged me $395 for a hair analysis test I never received. I disputed the credit card charge. Awful. I went yesterday for an energy booster shot, although I did have to wait maybe 10 minutes I didn't find it to be a big deal overall, no one was pushing me to book another appointment nor were they pushing hair tests, blood work etc. I explained exactly what I was there for and they were good with that. I was charged $45.00 above the cost of the shot for "nursing assessment" which I found odd because there was no assessment, she asked my name, date of birth and phone # and asked if I had any questions and nothing more, not my idea of assessing someone but I do understand they do have to pay the staff so call it what you will for the entire 8 minutes in the room with her and my $30.00 shot. The shot didn't do anything for me in fact I came home, mowed the lawn with little energy and could have fallen right to sleep, not on them perhaps just my body not receiving it the way I was hoping too. read more
