From the outside, I would have never expected such potential. The large building is planted very near the tracks off of Tryon & Dalton - just a few minutes from Uptown. Now, I'm sure the space varies per event, but the folks at Lupus decorated it beautifully. Tons of tables, a large bar to the right, dance floor near the stage and plenty of walking around room. Plus, there are two old train cars outside the side doors that are perfect for additional entertainment options - the event last night had a fortune teller and a bones reader in these cars. Per Extravaganza Depot's website, it looks like they are full service event planning and execution company. Capacity wise, the site reads 350 seated and 600 standing and there are adequate restroom facilities and probably 200 parking spaces (total guess here). There aren't too many well put together venues in Charlotte that host these types of numbers, but Extravaganza Depot does offer a great option!

What a GREAT space for ANY party or event! Extravaganza Depot converted part of their warehouse into a venue for parties and events. It's a very cool open space with a back deck that has a GREAT view of the Charlotte Skyline and 2 train cabooses that can be used. Not only do you get a GREAT venue for your party, you get access to the thousands of their props for your party. The folks at Extravaganza Depot were extremely professional, courteous, fun to work with and did a fantastic job! I could go on and on but the bottom line is, Extravaganza Depot is an AMAZING venue for a party or event and they did an AMAZING job and exceeded our very high expectations! We could not be more pleased with our choice to go with the Extravaganza Depot for our very important event! We would totally recommend using Extravaganza Depot for your next event/party!!! THANK YOU EXTRAVAGANZA DEPOT FOR BEING A HUGE PART OF MAKING OUR EVENT/PARTY SO SUCCESSFUL!!!

From her perspective, Janet and her team, would be able to deliver an upscale presentation as well as tasty food at an affordable price. She was right! La-Tea-Da's is outstanding. I wanted Southern Style Good Luck Food with a twist for my New Year's Eve themed birthday bash and La-Tea-Da's offered great ideas. First, guests were met with a wonderful mini chicken and waffle appetizer as passed hors d'oeuvres. There was an eye-catching fresh fruit and cheese display set up as well. Since my entrance wasn't going to be until after the cocktail hour, Janet sent a sample plate of appetizers to my room along with the signature New Year's Eve drink she came up with (Sparkling Pomegranate Lemonade and Garnish - nice touch!). The main entree was set up as a buffet, where the La-Tea-Da's team served perfectly seasoned collard greens, Charleston Shrimp & Grits in individual petite cast-iron skillets, cornbread muffins, peas and rice and turkey meatballs. The guests loved it! My party was more than a month ago and folks are still raving about the food. Truth be told, I was even more impressed with the service. Janet and her team did everything they promised and more, including helping me locate my guest book and setting it up before my arrival. The staff was well-dressed and friendly. I was lucky to be their customer and look forward to using them again. God bless them.

She was kind, attentive, and always willing to help bring our vision to life. The venue itself is the perfect blank canvas to create your dream Pinterest-worthy wedding or event. We loved having the freedom to personalize every detail and make the space feel uniquely ours. My husband and I wanted a spacious venue where our family and friends could celebrate, dance, and make memories all night long, and PINE was exactly that. One of our favorite aspects was the flexibility to bring in our own vendors, which allowed us to create a wedding that truly reflected us. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and are so grateful to the PINE team, especially Mayson, for helping make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. We highly recommend PINE to anyone looking for a beautiful, versatile venue with an exceptional team behind it!

The McGill Rose Garden absolutely delivered on that. This is truly a beautiful venue--lush flowers everywhere, winding walk paths, and plenty of places to sit quietly and just take it all in. It's the kind of space where you can slow down, clear your head, and quite literally stop and smell the roses. I found it to be a wonderful spot for reflection, a casual stroll, or simply enjoying nature without needing to leave the city. One of the things I especially appreciated is that you can enhance the experience with a visit to the wine bar onsite, Rosie's Wine Garden, where you can grab a coffee, cocktail, or glass of wine and then wander the grounds at your own pace. It adds a relaxed, almost European feel to the whole experience. A quick heads-up: parking can be a bit tricky, as the entrance is off a busy street, so just take your time and be patient when pulling in. Once you're there, though, it's well worth the effort. Bottom line: If you're looking for a small but charming botanical-style garden in Charlotte--a quiet place to reset, reflect, and enjoy the outdoors--this is a lovely little gem. For me, it checked all the boxes and has become a welcome respite in the middle of a busy day.

Rosie's Coffee and Wine is adjacent and service there was super friendly and fast. There is indoor seating there, but the gardens have little twists and turns and different areas to sit, too.
