Months later, the job was still not done; what had been done was done wrong and is falling apart. They also did tens of thousands of dollars in damage to our property in the process - carpets and furniture ruined. They used our planters for ashtrays and left garbage, including beer bottles, on the property. They just left their painting tools on our decking, covering parts of it with paint. The drywall is cracking and the paint was not properly applied. We literally have cracks in our walls all through our house now. They melted parts of the carpet with solvent and took few if any precautions to protect our belongings -- at one point, they were using our furniture to stand on to work (including a computer printer that had been in a closet) and then covered up the damage with drop cloths. Initially, Mr. Parker said his insurance would cover the damages, then he ghosted us. We settled a lawsuit against Parker's Painting, but he never showed up for any of it. We had to settle with his insurance company for a small fraction of it will cost to sort out the problems in our home as a result of Parker's Painting. If COVID had not shut down the courts, we would have gone after him for contractor fraud.
