Really a fantastic job! I had 30 glass window panes (just the glass, not the wood frames) that needed replaced due to old age and fogging. The glass was all double paned and unusual shapes, needed to be custom fabricated. Really wanted to get a company that would pay attention to the detail and get this done right since it's a nice house. They came out and measured all the panes, custom made replacements, and came back and swapped them out. All told this was a big job requiring a significant amount of labor. Turned out great! See my picture. Heads up I will mention the job start to finish took about 4.5 weeks vs the 2.5 weeks initially estimated, largely due to ordering of the custom glass. The price quoted was fair, and they came in 100% on budget. Happy to recommend and use them again. Also happy to use a local business. read more

I have attempted to get a hold of them for several weeks to get information about my shower glass. I first contacted to come measure my shower and give an estimate and I paid the $75 immediately. It took them 5 business days to contact me about coming for the estimate. They came and measured and I never heard back. I've left several voicemails and no response. Unfortunately this is not a good place if you have a small $4-$5k job and don't have a contractor representing you. We had a small job to replace some screens around our new house and to replace a french door with a slider. We had to pay a $65 estimate fee to review the screen work and do preliminary measurement and door selection. CCG&W subcontracted the screen work and their subs were prompt, professional and finished their side of the work very quickly and did a fantastic job. The door replacement was a wholly different experience. They really seemed to lose interest when I noted that I only wanted to replace one door instead of the door and all my windows. They were courteous and provided a quote for the door that did not take too long to get. I did not have a contractor, so they provided a list of 5 contractors. Of the 5, only 1 responded to my request. He agreed to do the work, came out to look at the job and do measurements and then pretty much disappeared. Multiple calls with short replies came back and after finally catching the guy on the phone, he admitted he was swamped and could not do the job. This pretty much left me stuck. I then started calling handymen and found someone that would do the work, but then CCG&W were uncooperative to work with him, advised using a different contractor, but would not provide any further assistance to find someone. 2 months of this back and forth garbage went on until I had enough last weekend and just reached out to a big box store. They got everything arranged, ordered and coordinated an installer ready in a couple of days. Since the whole estimation process process with CCG&W was of no value, I requested a refund. The fastest response I ever got from them was to say they did their job in giving me an estimate. I really wanted to support local small business, but this was just too much to deal with. So, they may be great for a big job or if you are working through a contractor, but if you have something small and are trying to just order something and have them do the install, I do not recommend them. read more

Extremely poor communication for a business. Initial attempt, called several times, left 2 messages on two different days. No call back. I called again few days later got a human. Told him I left vm. He said he's not aware of any voice mails. Red flag right there. Gave him the details of what I needed and he emailed the quote. The total was exactly double what I expected and what another shop quoted. I replied to their email asking the question and for a call back. No call back. Couple days later I called, a man said Joe will call me right back he's on the other line. Waited, got no call back. Following day I called, a man said they will review the quote and call me first thing tomorrow morning. Yet again, no call back. How do you operate a business like this!Ridiculous. read more

Josh and Sam were on time and had all the equipment they needed. Both gentlemen are very knowledgeable and friendly glazers. They replaced a full window, and one of my failed IG units in another window, taking care to move a heavy stained glass showpiece, and following up with rehanging it! I was very pleased with how they completed the jobs by cleaning up afterward so that I didn't have to worry about bits and pieces. This was the second time I've worked with the company, so I was not surprised, and I've enjoyed the consistently outstanding work ethic as much as I am enjoying the view from clear, clean, new windows! I found Central Coast Glass on yelp and interviewed 3 other window installers. They were, by far, the best not only in terms of price and quality but also in helping me figure out exactly what I wanted and needed, not trying to up-sell me. Once the windows arrived, the installation crew was incredible... quick, accurate and also made sure to clean up perfectly so my kids and dog didn't have to worry about stepping on nails or anything sharp. One of my kids broke a window on a Sunday morning and I texted Anthony that day and he took measurements and had the order placed for the new glass the next morning, while he was driving to the airport for summer vacation.
