They were supposed to come out and do the job by a certain day, but never showed up... I cancelled their services twice over the phone and asked for my money back both times...

I already had one contractor out this morning. They were shocked by the jerry rigging your crew has done. The hinges to the gate are not even mounted to the post for proper support... it's actually very dangerous. My lawn and sprinkler company came out, too. They will provide an estimate to repair the sprinkler head and line that were damaged due to the post not being in the correct spot, which threw off the entire project. We're very concerned about the safety of the improperly mounted gate. So far, the recommendations are to remove the posts and reposition them properly. Since Roly stated it is better not to salvage or reuse materials even if they're in good condition and it's better to just get new materials, I'll be sure the quotes include the cost to replace the materials as well. Your workers also cut one of my boards in half on my fence to try and jerry rig the gate into place. That board will also need to be replaced.
When Roly told me on Friday and early Saturday morning, that he was having problems with his workers, I told him both times I just needed my money back so I could contract someone more dependable. I asked for the owner to call me back to make arrangements to return my money. Imagine my surprise when the owner entered my property at 11am Saturday morning without permission and frightened my two teenage daughters who were home alone. What kind of individual forces himself like that and takes advantage of young girls who are home alone? I called again to cancel your services. Frightened for my children, I rushed home, but he was already gone. Security cameras show him on my property and phone records show that he never called and failed to knock on the door to obtain permission to enter my property. Later, I receive a call at 1:30 from a neighbor that there were three men sitting and smoking on my lawn and had been hanging out for about a half an hour... I go out there to see what's happening, and they jump up and start grabbing wood and materials that I had already removed from the fence. I was shocked, they too had entered my property without permission. Security cameras and phone records indicate that they never called, didn't knock on the door to seek permission to enter the property and that they sat around smoking and throwing their cigarette butts onto my lawn for hours. I attempted to call your company again, no answer. You entered my property without permission after you all didn't show up on time and you terminated our agreement to repair my gate on Thursday or Friday of last week. I asked for you to return my money when you didn't do the job I had contracted you to do on Thursday or Friday. Instead, you forced your way into my property, caused damage to my property, caused damage to city property, and jerry rigged a gate that is so poorly installed that it poses a safety hazard to all who use it... not to mention how you frightened young girls by forcing your way onto our property without permission.
Once I realized your workers were hanging out on my lawn, I did email to find out how long your workers were going to be hanging out on my property... we sat terrified in our home and unable to leave for our prior engagement as your workers had us blocked in with their truck all while your workers smoked and hung out and demolished out property. I had considered just shooting the trespassers that were terrorizing my family and destroying my property, but I'm sure Roly didn't tell them the job was for Thursday or Friday and you all lost the contract as a result of your failure to honor your commitment.
You entered my property and caused damages. You are liable for the damages you have caused. I will be sending you quotes to repair all damages. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt. Failure to remit payment for services I am forced to provide to you will result in active debt collection. Unfortunately, you all do not honor your commitments, have frightened my children, proven your incompetence in providing quality service and having your workers come back out to my property is NOT an option. The repairs to damages and to redo the jerry rigged gate, must be done by someone more reputable.
They claim they had my husband's permission to go ahead with the job. I'm not married, don't have a boyfriend, don't have any sons... no men live at my home. My phone doesn't no show a call back from them, I had my phone with me the whole time, so nobody would have been able to answer it but me. Its going to cost me thousands to repair the street, the sprinklers, repair my patio, pick up their debris, and to re-do the fence properly... They even guarantee their "quality" work. read more
