They both expressed genuine remorse and disappointment for the actions of the agent who worked for them. Brian informed me that he immediately terminated Jonathan Carrilles when he found out what happened, and has notified the appropriate licensing agencies. He has been actively working with the scammed homeowner and through my previous review we are able to identify another person Jonathan Carrilles scammed as well. When you're the owner of a company it's important to deal immediately, honestly and directly when something bad happens. Brian did this and I believe he is a man of high character and integrity. And a lot of there Purchase Agreements had so many clauses in them and since I was not totally ignorant to what they meant I just did not feel it was best for my situation. I also had overbearing companies that would hound me to give them a answer when they wanted it. With Chris he always told me to sleep on it, he was always there to answer every single text or phone call . Honestly all of those other contracts that I was offered did offer more money, however the amount of money they offer is not worth the paper they write it on if the contract does not close. In today's connected world, buyers have all the information they need at their fingertips to make informed buying decisions without the "advice" of a Realtor who's real motivation is to keep prices high. I've done FSBOs before but the time it takes can be overwhelming. So, I decided to try something different. Keith personally advised me and his team walked me through the process step by step. I was a little hesitant to price my house below market value, but he was right, buyers were absolutely beating my door down and begging to write me an offer. At the end of the day, I had multiple above asking price offers, and a backup offer after I was already under contract.
