Due to a case of stolen identity, :-( , I had to resolve it in person, as the 800 number that…read morepopped up in my search, was for WF customers only (lots cussing). I know it's due to good timing, but I didn't get a chance to Check In, as I was waited on within seconds of walking inside! 8-) , but 8-o ! In nearly 50 years of having credit, and a checking account, I've been a victim of credit card fraud 3 times. But, this was my first experience with Identity Theft. But, what was scary, and despite having a Freeze on my Credit Bureau Reports, the crooks were still able to open an account online using my SSN, and current address. Though, the Cell phone number was my OLD (pre December '19) one. Thankfully, the fraudulent account was for a "checkless" Checking Account, and not a Credit Card, or a Loan. Checkless Checking!?! Say, what! And, it had a $0.00 balance (how could someone open an account with nothing???), with no accounts linked to it. Now, it took about 10 minutes to get resolved, and reported to WF Security and Fraud Prevention Team. But, it's done. :-) Though, talk about crazy, she had to use my non-WF ATM Card to access the account information (I'm still at a loss for this). Many thanks to, Ms. Gwen Hicks, Regional Bank Manager, who handled the majority of the work. Unfortunately, due to my hearing issues, I didn't catch the guy's name at the SFP Desk Now, to call LifeLock, and update them.

We were repeatedly lied to when we tried to set up the account for on-line banking We were told everything was set and when we tried to log on we were unable to. It took three tries of going to this bank in person, and finally refusing to leave until we had all of the login information in hand to be successful. There are no Saturday hours, even for the drive-through, the annuities officer was clueless, and even a process as simple as ordering checks was not done correctly. As soon as possible all of the accounts at this bank will be closed. I suggest you avoid this bank if at all possible.

I was extremely disappointed dissatisfied and frustrated with my experience with Mr. Novotny. He was unresponsive to e-mails and his communication and follow-up was definitely substandard. After the first incident of no response, I kindly let him know what my expectations were and how important it is to follow up with clients. Considering my Husband and I are small business owners. However Mr. Novotny continued to be lacking and distracted. No client willing to spend their hard earned money on a home should feel like the big pot on the back burner.
