I sent a short email to them and they made arrangements to send another scanner. Anarae (the guy that helped me) even sent me some test scans to make sure that it was going to fit my needs. When you buy used equipment, one of the most important things to consider is if your item will be supported if something goes wrong when you initially try it out. Instead of getting an answer, I was asked for an account number, address, full name, and other information that had nothing to do with my question. Despite explaining multiple times that I wasn't a customer and simply wanted to know if the location was open to the public, the representative never provided a clear answer. So I took the chance and drove there anyway. The facility itself was just as frustrating. The signage was poor, there was no obvious place for first-time visitors to go, and I ended up driving into the wrong area before eventually finding the entrance. Once there, I learned I had to purchase a safety vest just to drive a very short distance and unload into a roll-off container. Safety rules are understandable; forcing customers to buy equipment for such a minimal exposure seems more about revenue than safety. The final insult was being charged a flat two-ton rate for a small load in the back of a Jeep. Poor communication, poor customer service, poor organization, and pricing that feels disconnected from reality. The experience left me with the impression that customer satisfaction isn't a priority because there are limited alternatives in the area. I will avoid using this facility whenever possible.
