There's a huge selection of books, lots of intentional book displays, fun seating and areas for storytime & computers. SHOUTOUT to Irene, the wonderful children's librarian who answered all my questions about the library & about being new to the area. I wandered around the rest of the library before leaving. It's very large! There's a plethora of spaces for adults to sit and read or study. I look forward to returning!

We love this library! It is close to family we have visited twice this year. It is large and has an…read moreawesome play area for little ones. An area set aside to the back with everything needed to put on a puppet show, books displayed with ease for them to grab and pick up and a really cool large oval carpet with the ABC's on it. There is a large train track with magnetic train pieces for play too. It is clean and the choices are abundant in books and movies from little, to teen to adults. A really cool fish tank and lego display is in the entrance to the pre-juvenile area. The computers are in different areas for use in children's area or placed throughout for adults or different uses, such as laptops or using the computers there. I saw an area for cell phone use inside which I found to be useful and very cool. Staff was not over zealous to help or as friendly as I feel they should be. Maybe due to their servers being down county wide (I heard a them say to several users). Faxing is also not a service provided. This would be helpful for a charge. Their was a nearby gas station/store that did help me with this task. I have definitely been impressed with this library, the choices and environment. The movie selections for all ages are very impressive. The members of this community definitely should make use of this wonderful facility and all it has to offer, if they have not already.

This new tag office, however, is fantastic. I have been twice and had a great experience both times. The people at the counter were extremely patient and helpful and were very quick to get you out. When you walk in, you check in on a computer kiosk, which puts you in line. There are an ample number of counters, so you don't wait long. They will text you when it is your turn, and they also have a screen to let you know where you are at in line. It is just an easy process that makes for a great experience!

It is a priviledge to work and to be involved with lots of people, a good disposition is required. All crachity, moody folk need to be behind a desk, shuffling papers. Spare the public of employees who seem to hate their jobs or they come to work with a chip on their shoulders. Hire positive people with upbeat personalities. Public Service employees should not get paid to be sour pusses. The news is usually bad enough and everyone is fighting a hard battle. So, anyone desling with the public must realize what they signed up for. Southern hospitality is a myth.

He had a terrible attitude and barked at me telling me he was going to charge me for printing the lease that the front desk representative told me to print out. Super unprofessional. On top of that a person had forgotten their cell phone on a chair in the waiting area and a man alerted an employee and the employee said "they better come back to get it then" and left the phone in the waiting room to get stolen! Terrible awful employees.

This DMV is located in the old shopping center sitting behind where Blockbuster used to be directly on Bullsboro. It isn't a looker on the inside or out, but what DMV is?! For my issue, I was getting my license switched from state to state. I ensured I had all my paperwork completed ahead of time and arrived ready to roll. I came right when they were opening and still there was a line of 10+ folks...so, get their extra early if you are not the waiting type! The process was fairly smooth and I had no hiccups. They processed my paperwork, took my pic and sent me on my way. My nephews test was similar in effortless processing. He had done everything needed ahead of time and arrived for his appointment ready to go. Luckily they were equally prepared, so he got in, did his thing and kept it moving (yes he passed!). Service wasn't bad, but I don't come here expecting smiles and hugs from the Agents...and neither should you. They do what they need and I am solid with that. Overall, it was weird that they moved the DMV into a worn and old shopping center, but it does boast a lot more parking and inside space than the previous location, so I get it. When you are required to come into a DMV, you don't really have a choice. This is your basic, cold and dated DMV and it accomplishes what it needs for you when you need it!

REMEMBERING THE COUNTY'S VETERANS…read more Coweta County's Veteran's Memorial Plaza is located within Temple Avenue Park. Temple Park is just a few miles south of downtown Newnan at Temple and Jackson Street. A Veteran's Memorial monument was dedicated on Memorial Day in 2009. There is also a wall of honor with a bronze plaque, dedicated engraved bricks and a bronze statue honoring local heroes. The park is a very peaceful and quiet place so it is an ideal setting for such a monument. Veteran's and Memorial Day services are held at this park which also has a built-in lectern and integrated seating. It is a shaded park with a fountain so it is just a great place to spend time relaxing and contemplating. This is a beautiful plaza and I was glad that I had an opportunity to visit it during this Memorial Day weekend.
